I feel the bts aren’t showing the whole picture, so Vikrant may make half attempts to stop his mother dragging Mannat out but not convincingly like the chori track….. I don’t think Ronnie (nor Gagan) are going to step in, they seem to be on the side lines again. I think the ceremonies will continue but will be incomplete due to mishaps (torn chunderi in this one) but Mannu will be getting angst along the way. Vikrant is like a rabbit in headlights, he is going along and only seeing the version his plan working, i.e Mannat is affected and about to crack and tell him her true feeling 😢 But as you’ve said Mannat has such high morals she wouldn’t and can’t stab her friend in the back.

We know something is going to happen to put a stop to it all, but I can’t figure out what. From the bts it doesn’t seem it will be Vikrant coming to his senses and saying he can’t put Mannat though it.

Soooooo I like Mona’s scenario of ARS pushing for the property transfer before the shaadi, where Raveena will cause big kalesh and in all of that Aman secret may be revealed. but I don’t think Vikrant will know of ARS’s blackmail yet…..

or as Moor suggested Neetu might corner Mannat in the kitchen and Vikrant overhears that Neetu has been drugging him all along….

But both these don’t solve the problem, from Mannat’s perspective, that Vikrant doesn’t have enough faith or trust in her until something is presented to him to make him believe in her again.

So hoping it’s Vikrant himself who initiates something for Mannat to be convinced he does indeed trust her.

This is such a thorough and perceptive analysis of the current sad situation .

I agree, if either of the 2 scenarios result in stopping this nonsense, Vikrant will never realize what he has done is unacceptable, insensitive and deceptive. I am also worried if either of this is true, He will come out as a victim without any consequences 🙄.

I am scared to say this, but will say anyways, writers really have messed up Vikrant's character.

Does Vikrant really think so low of Mannat that while he is getting engaged to her best friend (this is per Vikrant and why her trusts all her plans) in front of all the guests, Mannat will come and confess 🙄

@bold - The saddest thing is that Vikrant’s line of thought is not going along that tangent. As far as we've seen from the bts, for Mannat, Vikrant is now her best friend's fiance. And Malla did make it clear to Mannat that she does feel insecure seeing Mannat and Vikrant together. Now that the line has been drawn in front of her, being the virtuous person Mannat is, she would never cross that line.

Since the start, Vikrant has been shown as a righteous person who has brain and heart in the right places. Watching him behave so ignorant of the graveness of the situation is a put off.

With recent turn of events he's not even thinking about how the fake proposal thing would put him in her perspective.

Why would... why should Mannat confess her feelings to man who already has proposed another woman in front of their families? That woman is none other than her best friend.

He is being relentless making advances at every opportunity; be it teasing her, testing her patience, showing affection or admiring her. Considering the emotional connect she has with him, she'll definitely feel drawn towards him. I've posted this earlier too, the moment she realises that she's crossing the line of emotions, at first she would feel terrible about herself, then be hurt to the core and then she would draw back to her shell.

Sadly, it's none other than Vikrant who has trapped Mannat in this hell hole.

At this time, he's thinking only about the immense love he has for her. He even forgot that Sunita, the woman who claimed to be Mannat's birth mom died in her arms. Mannat already told him that Sunita lied to her about being the birth mom and he's seen how conflicted she was regarding that. He even pondered why would someone bribe Sunita to pose as Mannat's birth mom. It's not even crossing in his mind, with Sunita's untimely death, how would all of these affect Mannat. Moreover there was the hall drama regarding Neetu. Mannat has been literally telling him how disappointed she was at him and that there's no trust between them.

He should have given her some time to let all these sink in. To recoil back. The sudden urge to make her confess rather than him confessing to her... it felt a little bit rushed from his side.Then the fact that he’s being tricked as well makes me take a step back everytime.

But still, I'm hoping that Vikrant would pick up the signs at the right time, keep aside the rose-tinted glass, regain his BKB abilities and would surprise us.

Seeing Vikrant taking stand for Mannat and repenting the proper way only would soothe the burn the fake engagement plan inflicted on my brain.

With the way he is going, I want him to cry , cry really bad 😞. Hope writers do justice atleast here and don't end up making him the victim and giving him a free pass.

As much as Malla is evil, Vikrant is no baby and should know when something is no longer a prank. No self respecting women will do what he is hoping for.

I may come across as a sadist, but To torture him further, Mannat shouldn't believe when he says this was all fake and tell him Malla knows her very well and her beliefs about love. She would never suggest such a cheap strategy and play with someone he loves and his family emotions
