I don't agree about IPL having local players, 11 ki team mein 4 os, uske baad 5 slot mein 2-3 local players is not possible.

This is not Ranji, this is franchise cricket, they can make a team as they want which they think works well for them.

Dhoni can decide what his responsibilities to CSK are: I won't suggest anything. I'm just saying that CSK fans should not expect Dhoni to be their lifelong mascot: he may have other things in mind

My suggestion about IPL sides having a couple of local players was to combat the claim that the franchises would implode once a major iconic player of theirs leaves. As has been pointed out, there are no Tamil players in CSK, no Marathi players in Mumbai. But I'm pretty sure that Hyderabad/Telengana residents are excited about Nitish Reddy, and that if Anukul Roy flourishes likewise, Kolkata will be excited about him. It could at least resurrect some interest in a local team if a local guy is there. Otherwise the day Russell and Narine decide to hang their boots, Kolkata residents simply wont' recognize their team
