I have driven it when going to Palo Alto/santana row/San Jose airport and opposite way going to Oakland/san Francisco etc and as you know the Bay Area is east north south etc and in case in traffic jam u stuck hours there. What happened is I was driving from Santa Cruz to the east bay at night. Towards the Oakland area was when I saw a Tesla stuck in the middle of the fast lane, which is where I was driving. It likely didn’t have its emergency lights on cuz I don’t recall seeing them. As soon as I realized the Tesla wasn’t moving, I slammed on my brakes and stopped just an inch away from it. The car behind me completely lost control though and skidded off the left shoulder, crashing into the Tesla in front of me.
Both cars were completely wrecked, and I was left shaking, watching the whole thing unfold in disbelief. 😬

I’m OK otherwise, you know coasting along. and yeah, LA traffic is legendary in the worst way. I haven't been there in ages, probably since 2015 or 2016. I really need to hit up Universal Studios for the Harry Potter experience, if not for anything else.

oh ok u real lucky !! U were not sandwiched or something. Well Santa Cruz that road is crazy 🤪 gone there to the beach and visited some university out there. That road as weird turns and speed limits like trucks can drive this much etc and have heard that the ditches/curves steep in the side and roads rather narrow. The only plus point is the signs in the NorCal at least in case one pays attention there signs clear cut where to slow down etc. haven’t been to Santa Cruz though since I say 2020. Yet Santana row etc go whenever I’m there and visiting where the ritz Carlton is and hanging out at the winery areas as I got those who into wine tasting. I just enjoy sight seeing lol. U should come to Los Angeles lots things since Covid have changed but yes traffic is the same it’s like nyc though the jams there less then Cali unless u stick in holland tunnel going into Jersey or going to nyc.

I was definitely lucky, counting my blessings everyday. Yeah the road to Santa Cruz is definitely dangerous with all the curves and speed limits. Highway 17 is a safety hazard through and through. 🫥

Oh, I'm sure a lot has changed since covid. SF is not the same anymore for instance, it's a ghost town. Hopefully LA managed to stay afloat in comparison.
