I guess there is a difference.. when mainstream BW actresses announce wedding, designers might be reaching out to them to consider wearing their designed outfit. Kya pata paise lene ke liye bjye dete ho

He does have the option of declining her request why make a fuss and shame her publicly.

and designers offering to bollywood celebs are different things because we accept or not they have more reach to the audience. Why would a designer not want to collab with someone famous.

He could have said no.

I personally think it's cheap but it's very common nowadays. Even influencers get their weddings and outfits for free, forget movie/TV stars.
