Actually makers are clear about when to reveal Armaan and Ruhi's truth to family and Abhira. It's just that Star Plus asked them to give some dhamakedaar promo on 28th due to BB finale on rival channel. So they gave that promo and episode which revealed nothing and didn't help the story to move even by an inch. They'll reveal the truth as per their initial planned script only

We would love to see Armaan as a man of principle in all respects but there are times when he is not sticking to his principles. He says he never lies but is constantly lying to Abhira about a lot of things. He also let Ruhi to give him a long 2 minute hug where she was just feeling him.
