exactly. The second marriage from all 3 characters perspective should not have happened. But it is what fuelled MJ’s arc to change and grow as a result so there’s that.

Zaid was dumb for proposing this. Ayra was dumb for agreeing. And MJ was dumb for bringing the damn proposal instead of walking out lol. It bloody happened on Aamirs chaaleeswa dude. That’s like 40 days. No way was that enough time for Ayra to make a logical decision anyway. She needed time away to heal

It all comes down to how they earn their endgame. For me this information is vital for Zaid to have. And for him to make his decision and choose MJ despite having the dirt on her. That scheme was the most direct MJ has ever been in trying to wrong Ayra and Zaid does deserve to know.

But given how fast the writing moves from one big issue to the even bigger issue every week, I doubt it’ll happen. So again, endgame has to be earned, not just handed to us lol. And keeping this important information out and not showing how Zaid deals with it/accepts it is a disservice

Finally caught up with this week episodes ! Makes me really really curious how much was Wahaj paid for this extended cameo 🤔

High time Wahaj - Badar - Bing Bang should break up !

Badar should go back to Billal , that combo worked well.

Why oh why SA is used so easily in shows as plot device when it will not be addressed or dealt sensibly.

So is the show heading towards MJ - Zaid teaming up against there dads to bring justice to Aira ? wonder will it have court room drama or something where we see them exposing RJ to get slapped by Kashmala ?

PS - wondering who is next from MPHT who will have cameo in mein .

This situation isn’t good for anyone. This 2 wives thing was obviously not going to work out.

Zaid am not sure what will be his role in RJ expose but his growth is when he finally breaks free from Asif ! Like burn all bridges and close any paths which will lead back to his dad . He needs to get away from his dads shadow.

Aira , hope she gets her justice and closure but she needs to realise she and Zaid are not just for each other and decides to part on good terms.

I feel the writer is heavily invested in bringing out molestation as the social issue. MJ has a history of supporting a rapist too, interestingly. If they use that as the main issue, what Mubashira did to Ayra is not a bigger issue.

Something has to lead to separation anyway. I'd gladly welcome it if MJ trapping Ayra becomes an additional issue and Zaid blasts her. I'd really love to see that, not because she deserves punishment...but it'd be nice for them to have that transparency in their relationship.

I really hope Ayra tells Zaid the entire sequence from the email fiasco.

I would really love it if the story progresses to Mubashira realising how her supporting a suspected sexual abuser can shut her up from exposing the same in her family. I'll stand up and clap for Zanjabeel if she tackles this properly and this being her favourite theme to explore, I do have expectations.

I think we disagree on Ayra but maybe that’s the point. Everyone is a bit shady.

I don’t think the existence of Ayra is just to test Zaid and MJ’s reactions. Zaid needs to obviously step it up now after what happened. He did this previously when he found out how Asif tortured her and her family. He left everything for her. That’s why it feels annoying that we’re back to square one. Zaid told his friend that he was feeling guilty. It was his guilt rather than love motivating him. Perhaps that’s his Mein - he doesn’t like feeling guilty, his ego won’t allow it so he operates accordingly. Empathy and sympathy are great to have but constantly allowing guilt to dictate actions isn’t the best way to deal with things. I believe he has real feelings for MJ but it’s a battle between love and his need to feel guilt-free. My guess is his dad always knew this about him (he’s mentioned this) and manipulated him and used it as a means to control him.

Of course he should stand up for Ayra and protect her now however this doesn’t undo Ayra’s actions. I don’t think this is a case for someone being more giving than the other. It’s a case of one not doing any giving while complaining about the other one. Zaid is shown to be constantly stressed out around Ayra. I feel this is put in for a reason. In contrast he’s been pretty stress free with MJ. What’s the point in showing this?
