For the semis, the pitch was good for batting - cutting the grass, actually made it good for second team to bat on or else it could've turned into another nightmare for the team batting second - win toss, bat first like how previous T20 WC went on, team winning toss ended up winning tournament.

Yes, home team has a right to change the pitch but did you see what happened with the finals related debate ? They changed Ahmedabad to used pitch & ICC curator wasn't happy - when media tried to contact authorities they asked to contact GCA, GCA curator claimed they got instructions from BCCI to do so. Now, you be the judge - each blaming each other.

There is a huge difference between changing and tampering

Tampering is when you unofficially perform an act to change the features of the pitch. Changing is when you officially announce that the match will be played in pitch 6 instead of pitch 7 as it was previously decided.

Such decisions are very much in the hands of the home country. They are free to take these decisions and inform (not take permission) of ICC pitch curator. Which was was very much done in this case. There is no reason or requirement to make a public announcement for it.

You might say pitch changing was wrong and against game's spirit but don't equate it with cheating like tempering. There is a huge difference between the two.

The pitch wasn't changed in Ahmedabad at all, here they went with the same pitch which was predecided, the pitch was changed in Wankhede for the semumi final. Pitch curator was unhappy at it and rest as you mentioned

It has happened in past as well.

Again I am saying you can say changing pitch for Semifinal was not good but you can still not call it tempering because this was all official

I think Sky will be totally gone from the team, maybe he will be around in T20's. He might be given chances & they will axe him - try to groom an youngster. More importantly we need more left handed batters especially in the middle order & maybe bowlers who can bat around like 2011 & 2003 wc squads. Other than Jadeja, we had no leftie yesterday unless you count Kuldeep as a batter Having right, left combination puts so much pressure on the bowlers, yesterday it was a one way pedestrian a reason why they promoted Jadeja ahead to mix it up & it didn't succeed.
