So Viaan deserved respect just because he was her boss? It's not like he was some model employer. He abused his authority so many times to lord over her. Gave unreasonable deadlines so that she would be forced to work whole day, scheduled impromptu meetings when she was on leave, actually made up a trip to Dubai and then offered her more money, was rude to her, stalked her, cornered her, forced her to talk to him. And all this beside that ONS offer. Even Ehsan told him a lot of times that how he was treating katha was wrong. His attitude changed only after he knew the truth about Aarav. And that guilt came not only from the ONS but also from his mistreatment of her. Katha was the only employee in that office who was mistreated by him. He was always respectful and considerate of every other person there.

Viaan and Earthcon office in general created that environment which allowed employees to be casual with their bosses so, what's harm in it if they are also casual with them. Also, Katha on many occassions stood up or acknowledged his presence in the room in normal circumstances. So, I don't know what you are talking about.

Also, standing up, acknowledging are all signs of paying respect. How is she supposed to pay respect to him after what he had done and she had fresh memory of his misdeeds. You will pay respect to him?

They do enter. Remember Viaan's dreaming of Katha on the day of recording Earthcon's AV and Jenny arrives in his room. Very equal treatment. Makers took this particular thing in consideration well so, no complaints about that. There had been very equal treatment in the Earthcon from the very beginning.
