Thanks for making this post I have a few but little time however my main one is I agree RG is OTT but I don't find SP's acting any better. Nose flaring, then eye squinting, then walking with chest out. Nah not a big fan of either of them.

Anuj character had SO much potential and they RUINED it!

I agree with most of the opinions except about SP's acting . He's good in a negative role , but that also is getting repetitive and monotonous . In emotional roles and any other type of shades, I find him quite lacking . The contionus whitewashing and toggling b/w negative and so called "grey " shades is not doing his character any favours (also the neverending IVs 🤣)

Rupali's acting is definitely OTT sometimes esp in Shah related drama sequences . But it might be that online audience who are used to subtler nuances and finer level of acting exposure via OTT platform , find it jarring . The TRP audience probobaly enjoy the loud and "in-the-face" melodrama , as TRPs usually go up when such tracks are there . But I feel , she has toned it down quite a bit as compered to earlier days , again the story and script is letting her down badly these says and in general making her character quite irritable .

To give credit where it is due , when Anuj came , most of us thought GK would have to do most of the heavy lifting in their future romantic tracks and she might not be able to match up . But she has improved drastically , and it's just a pity that the PH is not interested in exploring their chemistry and relationship in a meaningful manner . Today's last 8 mins of Maan scene for example were pretty good I felt , solid performances by both RG and GK ...

I want this serial to be renamed as “SasuMAA..” rather than AnupaMAA ..

Anupama can tolerate her mother getting insulted but not her Saas

Kinjal enjoys watching her mother getting insulted but not her Saas..

Pakhi can tolerate her mother getting insulted but cannot hear anything bad about Adhik or Brakha.,

Dolly can also tolerate her mother getting insulted..

So, Please change the title to SasuMAAA..

Anupama and Kinjal are biggest Hypocrites

And Bapuji is the Main Villain of this Serial..

Henpecked husbands are good for nothing..

Anuj comes first in this category leaving Bapuji Behind

Kavya is the most sensible and realistic person who learns from her mistakes..

Neither Anuj nor Vanraj are examples of Good Husband and Anupama is definitely not a Good wife or Mother..

Man, this show has become so tiresome now. But of course, I watch it out of habit and still crib about it but I have a dozen unpopular opinions.

1. Sudhanshu is the best actor in the cast. He is a very infuriating character, and SP's off-screen antics also are a bit weird but I have to say, every shade he portrays well.

2. Choti Anu is the worst thing to have happened to this show. The kid is damn cute but the character is so irritating. She's a miniature Anupama, and bad enough we had one, we have to deal with two.

3. Anuj is a manic pixie dream boy. He has no arc of his own. No storyline apart from Anupama. All the dynamic traits he had from September-December are now gone. He's written as the antithesis of Vanraj with no defining traits of his own.

4. THE MOST UNPOPULAR OPINION: Rupali needs to do something about her acting. I know every day millions on social media hail her as phenomenal and master of her craft yada yada but I just find her so unbearable on screen. I thought her acting during the Pakhi insulting her episodes were bad, but now they're just terrible. She's trying to make it authentic with the shivery voice and shaky hands, I'll give her that- but it's very contrived. Indrani Halder from Sreemoyee and the Tamil version of Anupama have better lead actresses. AGAIN, MY OPINION only so please don't attack me.

5. The writers don't know how to write a romance between two 40-somethings. It's obvious they don't want to go overboard and make it cringe but it still comes across as very cringy.

6. Kinjal was a great character but her Papa jaap made her annoying. She has seen Toshu insult her beloved mummy so many times yet she stays with him. A very contradictory character.

Anupamaa spin off with Anuj and Mukku away from these Shahs. Then Anupamaa joins their family and they move to USA.

Vamps like Rakhi, Kavya and Barkha have more sense than heroine Anupamaa with shorter lines rather than 5 page lectures.

I am actually surprised. When I started watching this show I did not expect to end up liking Kavya the most. But these days she is the most sensible and sorted character onscreen.

Sabki MAA is the biggest hypocrite in the world

Anuj is GOT season 8 Jon Snow in making

V needs to stop roaming around like an angry gorilla

Bapuji needs to die of that heart attack already (seriously maar do iss buddhe ko)

Baa is a psycho as usual.

Pakhi and Toshu continue to emulate pendulams rather that acting like human beings.

Samar is not the same after Paras K exit.

In some instances like BB/AB but sadly they have been designated the vamp/schemer role and hence end up bearing the brunt of Sabki MAA's pointless bhashans

CA needs to be sent back to orphanage where hopefully better people than Anuj and Sabki MAA adopt her

And I am not even going to say anything about Kinjal. She does not deserve it

P.S. a moment of silence for poor Kantaben the real victim in this hot mess

Malavika was the worst thing that happened to.the show. After her ratings fell

Ruining Anuj & making him Anu love puppy was the second worst

Rakhi is the best character in the show. Loved her since day 1

Also, the show sucks now and should end.

The writing team are incapable and incompetent

Shwetha Tiwari would have made a way better Anupamaa. Her acting is natural, she can do bold scenes & her chemistry with GK would have been fire

My Unpopular Opinions:

1. Anuj came too early... AnupMaa should have been an financially independent woman.. I wanted her to go to college by herself.. focus on herself.. spend time with herself..grow without anyone's help.. then when she is much more comfortable alone.. Anuj can come as a friend.. companion. Now it just feels like Anuj is just there to provide support and help her. He is like a literal manifestation of wish fulfillment.

2. Choti Anu Adoption.. also came too fast..

3. No leaps.. This is a general complaint against all ITV series.. but I particularly felt that Anupamaa could use many short term leaps.. for example:

1. After Anupama found out about the affair and before divorce.. at least a year of to be independent and get strong.
2. A leap before Anuj Came again for Anupama and all to settle in the life.
   
3. A leap after Maan Wedding and before adoption..

These leaps could make us feel that "Chalo they had some peaceful times".. but because there are no leaps it feels their life is one trouble after the other. And It would have solved the Pakhi age problem.

4. Anupama should have lost that accent. It is getting irritating.

5. Sudhanshu can play negative roles.. but does not shine in emotional scenes.

6. Samar is quite useless even though he was the voice of reason in the mad house earlier.

7. The show should end now.. no need to drag anymore
