There was a time when intimate scenes , exposing etc was rare in Indian movies too. But now they don't shy away with the kissing scenes also . Shift in culture perhaps. We try to ape the west more than what's required . My body my right my wish... I believe it's ok , it's ok it's somebody's body and their right ..but if they are doing it just to "sell" something then no ..if it's a projection of art , yeah to an extent it's ok . They really have gone overboard with all this ..I hardly watch Indian web shows and 99% of the movies as I look for more substance than anything else.
Won't go into the morality of it or the religious part as it's personal . But paki serials also go a little overboard with the restrictions . What sajal did in ishq e la was not at all intimate. Normal holding hands or showing affection to the husband is just fine . If not then thy must not make shows at all..showing bitchy females is ok, abusing , thrashing the wife is ok, all forms of torture on women is ok , plotting planning vamps are ok, women trying to snatch somebody's husband is ok, abuse on men is ok, but when it comes to showing basic human emotions like love , it's a sin?
I agree that intimacy / chemistry can be implied and I love it , and in many shows ,like yks , zgh, himsafar etc , they did a really good job with the chemistry without showing anything explicit , at the same time it's just fine with what they showed in ishq e la. If a married woman should stand 5 ft away from other men, they must not be allowed to step out ..is there a similar rule for men?
Coming to ahad , well, it's his personal choice
..he isn't doing p stuff . We also have the option of not watching it .In Shows / movies / theater produced in the west, it's normal. BTW do they get Netflix in paki? I heard aamna and Hasan talking abt Netflix shows..if ppl can watch these shows in paki, what's the issue with this one ? Matlab koi aur actor hona chahiye apne wale nai? đ¤ cmon yaar .
