Happy 10 yrs to PKDH, Disha and Nakuul 🤗

I'll forever be grateful to BALH for introducing me to PKDH 😆

Such a lovely and wholesome show. Good, progressive story lines, crisp direction and script, very, very good casting, amazing dialogues and super romantic BGM

I haven't watched a lot of ITV but from what I have watched, Adi and Pankhu are truly the sweetest couple ever. Their falling-in-love phase was simply beautiful. And their realisations, confessions, proposals and sexy times were perfect!!! As a viewer, I never found those pivotal moments/scenes lacking in any aspect and throughly enjoyed them.

And not just Adi-Pankhu, but every side-character was wonderfully casted and utilised. There was a good balance of angst, drama and love and no plot-line felt overbearing (I haven't watched the Ayesha Track yet so not including it 😳)

It must've been an amazing experience to watch PKDH when it was telecasted!!!

There are innumerable Adi-Pankhu moments which are close to my heart but the most romantic ones (to me) are -

Their 1st date (Pankhuri shows Adi around Manali and they have chai at a tapri)

When they sneak out at night in the rain and Adi explains why he's been avoiding Pankhuri all day

When Adi 'practises' his proposal to Latika with Pankhuri

When Adi gifts a bunch of roses to Latika in the car but when they reach Diwaan Mansion and everyone leaves the car, he privately gives Pankhu a single rose

Haayye!!!! So romantic!!!!!!

This show was so so good that it can rarely be counted as an ITV one.

The acting skills of newbies like Nakuul & Disha - you can see them grow - And their character arc👏

What's funny is how I couldn't get time to watch the show when it actually aired but definitely saw glimpses then & knew it was Awesome.

9 yrs later I actually went back & watched the show cos NaSha were back in BALH2 & loved how they played PriRa.

Aditya & Pankhuri are such a Gem & their separation scenes were painful to watch.

And Adi's love realization is one of the best I've seen in ITV in a while

I stayed away from ITV for almost 10 years before falling for the promos of BALH2 and getting hooked, so I've never watched PKDH. In fact, the first time it was mentioned I had to google it 🤣

But there have been so many references to this show on this form, also on other SM platforms, that I might just give it a go. Craving for simple, sweet story..and this may just be it 😊

The Barjatyas though might have been titled with making weird conservative movies .....All of it gets cancelled due to this one show - PKDH.

Can't say I loved pkdh, because I found it unremarkable and stopped watching quite early. I didn't find either Nakuul or Disha remarkable either, in the bits I watched. But I'm not here to diss them on this fantastic anniversary, because I like both very much, thanks to I Don't Watch Tv and, of course, balh2. Crappy and cringeworthy as the latter is now, they have been excellent almost through it. I never, never would have expected the actors who played those generic characters to bring Ram and Priya to life in the way these two did. Sure, I didn't much like Nakuul's Ram post-leap, but it's hard to get into a fairly illogical role change, especially considering his health.

They seem nice people too, in totally different ways. And it's good to see the camaraderie. And so incredible that they are working together on the 10th anniversary of their first show. I only wish balh2 had stayed true to it's promise, because they both deserve that.

Started watching Ayesha Track..

Adi ko ye line kuch zyada hi mehenga pada

Aisa nahi hai me tere bina jee nahi sakta, me jeena nahi chahta 😭

Adi toh has turned to living corpse after Pankhu's death..

He won't fall for Ayesha right?

Although it's Disha only, I m not liking Ayesha as of now , mere PaYa babies ke beech no one allowed 😡

Also for fans who watched Ayesha track then, it would hv been quite a suspense if makers will make Ayesha Adi endgame or if Ayesha is only Pankhuri right?

Did makers bring back Pankhu owing to fan pressure?

@bolD Exactly how we felt when we were watching then lmao😆 ki it will all be for nothing.. all that buildup of PaYa relationship for 2 years..only to kill pankhu and make adi fall for someone who looks like her?? ughh

yeah it was a suspense and fans were hoping that atleast if ayesha is pankhu then its still alright.. but then it was revealed that she isnt..

and fans went crazy lol. trending and all happened.. and thankgod she was brought back though in an illogical way 😅

initially the ayesha track was too painful to watch...but do watch it still.. ayesha also changes / has character development and its beautiful to see adi being so loyal to Pankhu.. at the end all felt bad for ayesha too..

They have SO many beautiful and unique scenes'tracks!!

I loved all of the ones you mentioned.. plus in addition I loved-

After Pakhu's accident, and Adi ka love realisation, when he keeps sending her flowers, cards etc in the hospital ❤️

Then when she comes home, all those gifts one by one...

Then when they go on that car trip..when adi plans to confess his feelings1! that whole sequence was fun and awesome

Their valentines's day ki raat ☺️

when adi says sorry to pankhu on top of a bus 😆 he was such a kid

I loved the other characters also so so much..Harish avantika's nok-jhok wala relationship was also so cute to watch..and their journey was awesome

Nanu and Adi.. Shanky kaka.. Sheila bhabi was also awesome even though she was grey shaded.. aise hone chaiye negative/grey-shaded characters!1

Also loved loved how Preeti used to give back to sheela mami🤣

The best thing about PKDH villains was that they weren't outrightly EVIL (didn't want to murder anyone, for example)

Rubel was unabashedly aggressive and Sheela Mami was meethi choori. But almost everyone knew that about her and Preeti was always ready to give her a good verbal thrashing 😆

And villains frequently faced consequences of their actions! Like I said, it was a balanced show with a lot less negativity.

And everyone had a healthy share of screen space, be it Nanu or Govardhan Mama or Shanky Kaka 😃
