Patriotism is love and pride for one's nation but doesn't put the nation above humanity or justice. Nationalism takes patriotism to the next level by being exclusionary and discriminatory to all that do not align with a narrow definition of nation. The third Reich was nationalist. Russification is nationalist.

Patriotism and Nationalism ia same to me.

I love my nation. I dont like anybody who harms my country.

We have already been ruled and tortured by too many invaders.

I dont want our neighboring countries to ruin india any more , by their terrorism, mining, encroaching , cowardly warfare.

If we are going by "native" instead of "dominant" group. How far back do we go?

Nativity in the new world is relatively easier to determine because it was undiscovered until 600 years ago. How do we determine nativity in lands that were part of migrations, trade routes, and invasions that saw generations of cultural exchange both organic and coerced? How does a faith with an origin in one river valley claim nativity to an entire subcontinent? When Hindu rulers have also conquered kingdoms and asserted their rule over other people, why does it get to assume the moral high ground?

Perhaps to some people, these historical contexts make sense. But for me, Hindu nationalism/Hindutva and white nationalism are the same - privileged dominant groups unwilling to yield their dominance and claiming equity is oppression.

Be a BJP fan or nationalist for the right reasons, be genuine. Not just to promote films.

I am a nationalist because i genuinely believe in the ideology Nation First.

i don't think AK is buttering or needs to. In my opinion, he is a huge Namo fan. He even donated 25 crores to the PM fund during covid....

I also think he has a strong sense of patriotism. His father was a soldier. People with folks who have served in the forces will get that.

As for Kangana, what's wrong with her spine? If anything she has too much spine. She should be/ have been more tactful.
