Red Romance is a romantic drama mystery thriller series. The plot revolves around the reknown elite class citizens living in Peterroot's most posh area called Parktown. Zayesha Asthana is a popular actress who had recently got open married to a rich sportsmen Karan Swaheka. Meanwhile Parktown citizens throw a party for the two which turns out to be big drama as Zayesha come across Niharika Sahay who is actually her arch rival living in the same society with hot businessman husband Akshay Sahay. Zayesha who hates Niharika like anything doesnt know that Niharika is actually in an abusive marriage and starts having a sexual affair with Akshay. At one night Niharika confront Akshay for cheating on her and at the same night Zayesha get to know about Akshay and Niharika's abusive marriage when she sees Akshay whipping Niharika. Zayesha gets shocked and without thinking once she jump into the matter and help out Niharika. In a tiff, Zayesha throws Akshay off the balcony which kills him. Both the girls quickly remove all the proofs but they were unaware that somebody had seen them murdering Akshay and the person has proof so the person start blackmailing the girls. Zayesha and Niharika suspects Olivia (Karan's ex gf who lives in the same society) but later it is revealed that the blackmailer is none other than Saurav (Olivia's husband). Saurav reminds Zayesha that because of her in 10th standard he was expelled from the school which led to his year loss and due to this his only mother tragically abandoned him and he had to create his own identity, so now he wants revenge. Zayesha and Saurav come across each other and Zayesha shoots Saurav who gets injured badly, Niharika takes Saurav to hospital and bribes the doctor to put him under sleep. Later, Zayesha tells Niharika that Saurav (before he was Aarush) was expelled because he tried to rape her. Meanwhile, Karan and Zayesha goes on their honeymoon where Zayesha sees Karan and Saurav chatting together and gets shocked. Turns out Karan was the actual Aarush who tried to rape Zayesha but now as he wants his revenge to get done in clean way he pays Saurav instead who is none other than Aarush / Karan's school's best friend. After learning the shell shocking truth a heartbroken Zayesha gets furious and plans to kill both the nuisance in one go. During her return to India, Zayesha hires a sharp shooter to kill the two. After coming back to India, Parktown mourns Karan and Saurav's tragic death while Zayesha is now happy but her happiness is short lived as Karan comes back, he escapes from the shooter leaving Saurav in his place purposely (He knows Zayesha knows everything). At home, Zayesha pretends to be cool and makes a special dinner for him where she adds poison. In the dinner table, Karan keeps stirring the soup as he knows Zayesha has poisoned the soup, soon the cops arrive at their flat and arrest her for her crimes. On the other hand, Karan goes to Niharika and tells her that he fulfilled his promise by getting her rid of her arch rival. Niharika smirks recalling her affair with Karan and also remembers that she was the real mastermind behind everything, she wanted to get rid of her abusive husband and arch rival so she took the oppurtunity of the situation and got her abusive husband killed by her arch rival but as a simple and easy arrest wont satisfy Karan's burning heart so she takes half of the revenge and passes half of the revenge to Karan. 1 year later, Parktown celebrates Karan and Niharika's one year marriage anniversary but the party turns into a shocking nightmare when lights goes off during the ball and when it comes back, Niharika was missing and Karan and everybody could hear Zayesha's laugh. The show ends with Zayesha's voice saying "Romantic tales are remembered when they're left unfinished..... Ladies and gentleman. Parktown party is equal to drama. I hope you enjoyed but the show ends here so goodnight and goodbye" and the lights goes off.
