Imlie CVs....Why can't you focus more on Imlie's career?

All this while, whatever rushed/convenient plots you served us after 100 Arylie episodes, we accepted it because we understood the constraints you were facing from an actor and probably also from the channel for the forced marriage track. I am that person who even looked at the Jhadu promo with a positive note. But, what you showed today can't be accepted. Yesterday only I had defended you on Arpita-Sundar part, that you will develop their track sensibly. I understand that, with the Ts out, you have to do something to bring Sundar to R house. But, this is not the way. You can show Imlie going to office for some days, doing some assignments with Madhav, she putting up a report clearing off the false rumors on Arvind, Aryan and Imlie having some arguments regarding some news reports etc etc while giving some parallel scenes developing Arpita-Sundar bond. At this point, Arpita & Sundar have zero compatibility to be life partners. You are repeating the same mistake of Imlie getting infatuated by Aditya and forcing them into a relation. I want to believe that you are going to use this track to show Imlie too can be at fault and that she should not be right all times. Like, today's closed-eye scene with Arpita, where Imlie's hypocrisy was hinted at. But, I don't trust you on showing Imlie at fault in an explicit way, especially after seeing the way you dealt with Arvind's track and made Aryan say that 'only Imlie' was right and his pain was not addressed. Anyway, it's our part to give you the feedback at the right time. Baaki, aapki choice; aapki marzi. Anyhow, we always have the first 100episodes & some countable ones from the rest to cherish and will continue watching the show for Arylie, as long as it exists.

Uh.. imlie turning out wrong seems an impossibility now..

I hope they will show relationship development for arpinder.

See what i felt was imlie proposing a remarriage goes with her character as she can't think of a romantic relationship out out of marriage, for her everything starts with a marriage and a husband.

However it's not like that for Aryan or arpi. So i hope they take a sensible route and show sunder character development along with their dating phase.

Agreed, just showing her with a laptop inside the Rathore Mansion ain't doing anything for her career arc, they should focus on office politics as well, now that she's the Boss' wife, what will she face? Will she get good opportunities and be able to make her name on the basis of her individuality? Or how will she prove her condescending colleagues? All of this is v v imp, today's episode hinted at a lot of saas-bahu drama, unnecessary BM-BD non-sense (it was funny but I hope they don't continue with it).

Agreed, and just because she is the FL, can't mean she is right all the time. She's a human, who can make mistakes while trying to keep her family happy. Her intentions are good but actions maybe wrong. She should learn to let things happen on their own and that she can't and shouldn't try to meddle into other people's businesses, even if they are her own family members.

The writers have the serial a khichadi by putting many thoughts in it. Now they do not know where to move, the story which started with Imlies struggle for empowerment for her rights as an Individual to survive in the society has now limited to kitchen politics and normal ITV romance. Same old marriage and FLalways right type of drama.

To be complete a person does need any body else .

Also why do we NEED to shift sunder to rathore house.. Let him go.. Find someone else for Arpita.. Its not as if they have built up this great love story..

I'm telling you that i get disappointed with this serial only bec of aryan.. He is such an unconventional itv hero that he feels like a fish out of water in the conventional itv scenes like kitchen politics..

.... It would literally take him one scene to shut up bm/bd, one scene to throw them out, and one scene to reprimand imlie into focusing on her work and not this bakwaas... But we won't have those scenes bec..... Itv!!!

cvs are making it go the way if Aryan arpi n narmada refuse Sundar they will be considered classist like how they made them to support imlie with jhadu pocha during her reception if they have to be in good books of viewers 😑..

imlie don't understand not everyone would like to marry other person n find love after the death of their first love.. seems she don't understand the depth of love yet.. Arpita may find happiness in staying lonely with the memories of her husband than marry someone else..

that too imlie recommending T's househelp Sundar for Arpita only coz Sundar loves her is downright indecent proposal unless Arpita too is head over heels in love with him.. it looks like she thinks as a widow arpi can't expect more.. so regressive 😑

Bold - Not only FL of Hindi shows, FL of regional shows follow the same trend. Our regional version of Anupama started much before it's Hindi version and I am glad that our Anupama is still being shown as a single successful mother without having to be romantically involved with any of the MLs. But, last few episodes has turned out to be completely boring because, it is all about only Anupama having brains to solve all the family's problems. Even to suggest about a lie detector test and get her son out of jail, Anupama has to come back from Dubai. None of the male characters who are managers, businessmen, doctors in the show could suggest it in her absence. It's now a regular hobby for me and my hubby to mock the show and it's characters. Just because the TV is on from 6-10, we continue watching it while doing other things. I hope Imlie doesn't turn to be that way for the TRP viewers.

Secondly, pseudofeminism where trashing male characters unnecessarily is something I find hard to digest.And in Imlie, along with this pseudofeminism, what makes me annoyed now is that we are just out of a forced marriage track and again they are repeating it. It's been hardly 10-15episodes since we saw Aryan and Imlie insensitive to each other and at loggerheads. And here comes the next track with a repetition of the same scenes between Arylie; that too without any efforts by the writers to acknowledge the Rathores pain in coming to accept the reality of Aravind's death. I can agree with the excuse that, to give the actor & character a decent exit, they had to even compromise with Aryan's revenge part and made him say sorry to Aditya. But, what stopped the writers from getting Imlie write an article, clearing Arvind's name from all false rumors. Why can't they make her mahan in that way? Why do they always have to keep forcing nonsensical tracks on us and that too without a break? Why can't CVs show Imlie as a human who can err atleast once? And now the ASR who had asked her to behave like a 19-yr old doesn't ask such questions anymore; instead, the man who didn't have any ego when it came to Imlie, is being shown egoistic. All this while, I sat through the nonsensical episodes only because I had trust in the CVs and also because of the respect I had for Fahmaan and Sumbul. But now, I am slowly loosing trust in the CVs as I feel like they are going in the usual ITV way of showing MLs turning brainless once they are married and getting them involved unnecessarily in kitchen fights. So, I might watch the upcoming episodes only once I get a clear idea of what the CVs are aiming with this track. Till then, I will enjoy watching the episodes 310-410, the bestest phase of Arylie; instead of getting irritated & losing my peace.

P.S. Already because of my past experiences, I always keep a check on not going overboard for a show and that's why some days I purposely don't log into the forum. Yet, till Thursday, I had a hidden urge of wanting to maintain the forum position of our show and contribute to it. But, yesterday's one episode has taken all my excitement away. I am like, if makers are not interested in maintaining their ratings then why should I?
