Bro you have some serious issues with men hahhaa. But thankfully, my work experience deals with a lot of men who have only been kind. And I'm glad to not have any female in the team either because they're just too much to handle.

Me and my best friend were literally discussing this the other day and we vowed to be chilled too.

The women faculty would talk about their children and well, kind of complain to each other. Which again I understand - we have much fewer women profs than male profs. But I could kinda see why the men were getting ahead and the women weren't... (I feel awful saying this😒)

I think when you are making a statement like that, you are totally missing a point. There was this amazing article on care work. I can't find it. 😫 Damn it.

So basically like bakwas said, men are always chilling with their friends, talking to their colleagues about their career and what not and they come home and all their emotional turmoil is shared with women. And that kind of emotional care is provided by women to all the men in their lives and it exhausts you. It is also labour and work. So women are doing those emotional care work when it comes to children, husbands, brothers, parents, and even male friends. So naturally they look for avenues to open up about the emotional turmoil to other women irrespective of whether it is a workplace or not.

I really wish i could find that article.

I understand what you're saying.

But at the end some women have taken it too far and I'm saying it solely on personal experience at work. Being political, good at face, awful behind your back, weirdly being too obnoxious and being very bitter with words.

All higher authority females in my workplace are this way as compared to male seniors who are sweeter.

I'm sure you're right and that's really an awful situation (bold). My totally self-centered take on it is I found it more interesting eavesdropping on the men's conversations and I learned more from those than when I hovered around the women... (my one contrary point of reference is my mother, who is very career driven and no-nonsense and scares most of her male colleagues into awed silence🤣)

Maybe austen-eliot had the right idea that if we are to test how well a female-centric world would function, it would have to start from scratch without the modifying toxic influence of a male dominated society to begin with.

Do drop a link if you find that article. One reason I'm wary of marriage and kids is that you never know what kind of situation you could end up in if the spouse is not supportive... I do not want to be doing all the heavy lifting for multiple people!😲

I am not saying all women are amazing people, but that I understand where their pettiness come from and that I am trying to give them some benefit of doubt. Like I hate manic pixie dream girls and pick- mes but I still understand what makes them that way.

And I am not saying there are no "good" men but I do generalise men as bad. And I will never ever believe they are better than women. They are either good because they have it too easy or it's just an act.

And the exceptions are few and I wholeheartedly accept them. 😆

Isn't being bias with men as a whole is what started this gender inequality? Women were biased and looked down at before and now that they are at an equal stance, shouldn't we demolish these inherent prejudices first and give both an equal platter at the start?

I mean, you may have a personal reason why men are at a stance lower than women, but I'd always looked at both genders equally and ranked according to my preferences rather than being hasty with the male female part.

Oookay!

So. A couple of years back I thought exactly like you did. But not anymore. Especially considering the present situation where men hold disproportionately huge amount of power and privileges than women can ever imagine, looking out for men's feelings is just ridiculous. They have everything served on a platter to them.

This is my personal opinion.

Let's just agree to disagree here, because nothing is gonna come out of this back and forth. As I have already gone through these set of arguments and I don't want to convince you about my points either. Because if one has to reach there or not, it has to be on their own I guess. 😊

PS: When I generalise and say men, I am always taking about cis het men
