Actually main The Buddy Project dekhi thi(except last 2-3 months as it got boring) so I know how they work on couples and other characters.

Karan kisi old Sunshine PH character se match nahi karta.

Monami looks like Panchi.

Sid looks mix of Ranveer and Samar.

Sanjana looks like Bobby.

Faizi looks mix of Piddi and Samar.

Koel too looks like Panchi.

They showed the story in realistic way of most of the times Britishers having upper hand like making Pelu mute, killing of teacher and hanging of 6 main characters. Angoori-Anita would have succeeded in drugging Britishers plan had big chief officer David Mishra and that doctor not there. It simply showed how many patriots died or suffered in other ways and how many such men never got to see their kids. One thing was surprising that Happu hurt and killed many Indians but when it came to his step-sister he changed sides and sacrificed his life for her so it showed that he truly loved her.
