I feel very protective about Anchal Sahu: Shagun Pandey on supporting her against trolls for Barrister Babu

Kyun Uthe Dil Chhod Aaye (KUDCA) actress Anchal Sahu has bagged the role of grown up Bondita in Colors’ Barrister Babu. Anchal has been receiving many hate comments, trolls and bashing for taking up the character by Aurra Bhattnagar’s fans. Aurra’s possessive fans are not liking the actress getting eased out from the show and hence they’ve been bashing actresses who were approached for the character. Anchal had also reportedly opened up on the matter and stated that she doesn’t like her family being dragged in the hate comments.

Anchal’s friend from KUDCA, Shagun also came to her support and asked fans to stop spreading negativity. In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Shagun said, “When I came to know about the trolls and bashing, I couldn’t keep myself from addressing the issue with the viewers and hence I did a LIVE session and gave a piece of my mind to the fans. Anchal and I are really close friends. She has always been there for me in thick and thin. During the partition track in KUDCA, I was completely physically and emotionally exhausted and at that time, it was Anchal who stood like a rock for me, supported and motivated me to give my best. I will not let anything pass through her. As a dear friend, I’ll always protect her. She’s like a family and very talented. I’m sure with her talent, hard work and dedication, Anchal will win hearts of the viewers. I spoke to Anchal about the same and she’s a strong girl and won’t let it affect herself”.

On talking about the track in KUDCA, he said, “I don’t know about the existence of VashmAy (Vashma-Uday) without Anchal. For me Vashma will always be Anchal. I’m currently on the sets and missing her. I often give video calls to her and tell her that I miss her on the sets but I’m happy too for her to have bagged such a nice show.”

Shagun and Anchal's friendship is cute. I'm glad Anchal is getting a big complex lead role like she deserves. Haven't seen much of BB, but Anchal looks perfect as Bondita. Heard Shagun might also play lead with Ashi Singh. Glad talent is getting recognized. Wish good projects for Zaan, Gracy, and Pranali as well.
