Even if they had done that. Focus should have been on the family aspect, not murder mystery. 8pm SP show is doing a similar track. ML's family doesn't think FL is good enough for ML. Ranes could have felt Kalyani being an illegitimate child and maybe they could have sided with Sampu to get back together with Malhar cause she's Moksh's bio mom and legitimate child. And Kalyani's progressive thoughts versus old thoughts of Ranes would have been nice to see.

Family aspect is more important in an Indian daily soap

It help to gain general audience which both bhagya have even though their story have nothing interesting..

CVs lacked in understanding that family drama is must and they rely on murder mystery and kidnapping for every track...

Raabta is such a positive word but CVs messed it with their awful creativity...

Jmo, but as I've mentioned before... Swara's death is easily changeable: we didn't see it on screen, so Malhar and Sarthak can say they put her in a WPP to avoid the Deshmukhs doing her any more harm.

In the future, they can bring back out from prison Vivek and have Athu show up to cause trouble again and both can fight over her, as Swara was "sorta married to Athu" before he turned bad and then leap happened.

And it would be "nice" to have a female close relative in the Rane family who gets introduced to Kalyani and instantly decides to make her life hell as a typical narrow-minded MIL in a sas-bahu show would, as a way of exploring differences of opinion and behavior btw women within different age groups.

When they tried it with Madhav, it looked so not fun to watch and awkward, especially with Malhar only supporting Kalyani half the time due to his desire to impress his new-found family, and especially his father, who eventually almost each time got to have the last word.

Would be nice to see Malhar put to test in that sense and see whether he has improved on that front or he's the same and disappoints again.

Also, I wish they hadn't given Malhar a brother only to make Ahir a villain: it would have been interesting to see his equation with a male sibling, given how much he'd missed Swara and how close they used to be.

They could've made it so that the real devil was Asavari and she put all the wrong ideas in her son's mind, who followed her blindly... but they shouldn't have taken Ahir's negativity too far and made him irredimable to the point that only death would satisfy fans after his bad deeds.

If we think about it, except Malhar who's the Show's hero, the only other male character who wasn't in some way bad from go or later butchered was RS.

Actually, Swara's death can still be reversed. They can say that since her body was burnt it was unrecognizable, and Swara actually survived. Maybe Athu can come back to AN via Swara. Like he finds her maybe in a coma and helps her recover and pretends to repent for his mistakes and says they can go take revenge together. And Vivek is released from jail. I feel that track is possible since Swara's body and funeral wasn't shown. Cause custody issue is resolved, Athu needs a new way into AN. Swara can come back with Athu for revenge. And Swara is upset that Rane men are siding with Deshmukhs, and not with her.

That would also be an interesting spin on the SL and, eventually, at some point maybe put Vivek and Athu vs one another, after they've had their fun tormenting the Ranes.

But I hate that they killed a character with so much potential who, at the same time was also positive.

I also thought the same. Since Swara's body or any funeral rites were not shown, she can still be shown to have survived and the body which was probably shown in the hospital to Malhar may have been someone else's..

I think Swara still has potential to add on to the story.

Either she can team with Atharv as you say.

Otherwise..

AnuSar can be shown to get her a divorce from Vivek and KalMa can be shown to help her in rebuilding her life.

(I think a positive aspect would be nice for a change).
