Why do Big stars marry average looking people? - Page 6

First of all young Gauri and Jaya may not be drop dead gorgeous but no way were they so ugly looking that no one will get attracted to them. They both were really cute when they were young and Gauri was really glam too. AB and SRK were in love with Jaya and Gauri respectively prior to tying the knots so surely they must have felt attracted to their looks. Anyways in love marriages/relationships most people get on people they are compatible with rather than just going with the most good looking one. One must be really shallow to choose a partner just based on their looks.

Sometimes I feel this forum is full of teens who reads Mills and Boon books when I see such threads.

because they have poor taste? 😛 Can you think of a better reason than that? 😉 😉 😉

I would have agreed abt likes of Juhi Or Raveena Or Shilpa but AB and Srk actually married partner who are quite good looking for them ( I mena they both themselves are pretty avg) and Jaya was a bigger star than AB when they got together. Gauri was Srk's childhood love.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway. If there were only a few universally good looking people, everyone will be after only that small group of people. Thankfully, the world is not like that and everyone likes different things. Not only that, even the hottest person in the world is not impressive anymore when you see them everyday and deal with them as a person. Suzanne still divorced Hrithik and walked away in spite of his fans' nonstop drooling over his looks. Relationships don't sustain based on beauty.

I mentioned this before beauty is in the eyes of beholder, Big b is not good looking at all to me. But I find srk younger or older good looking

Gosh if people just married for looks then that would just be sad, coz good looking doesn’t automatically mean you are going to be happy living with them for the rest of your life. Even if the person is good looking then that isn’t enough, to be in love with someone you have to like them and their personality, they should be able to make you happy. I know some good looking people that are complete losers in life, and I know people who are not conventionally good looking but they are some of the loveliest people I know, and their partners are so happy being with them.

and it’s all about personal taste, some people gel well with a certain type of person and others do not, it’s all about who you get on with as an individual, I don’t know why people judge other people’s relationships, at the end of the day the relationship is about those two people

Jeetuji is probably wondering why his superstar wife married him. I hope the responses here helped him solve some of that mystery.

Sharukh is average, but no way Amitabh was average in his youth. Even by western standards he was handsome and tall. Jaya did not suit him at all. If Amitabh was living in America or Europe he would have easily gotten the most beautiful blue eyed blonde for him to marry. Or even in India he could have married Zeenat Aman or Hema Malini, Saira Banu, they suited him much better.

😂 If you're saying that marrying someone who is good looking does not mean you'll be happy for life, well the converse is also true. You could be married to someone who looks like a dog and still be unhappy. 😂 There are no guarantees either way. Which is why i always say- it's better to fall in love with a good looking female than an ugly one. 😉 😉 😉

Amitabh may have the height and personality but he had a pretty below average looking face. Also Jaya was a more successful actress when they got together. She supported him when he was a no body and she was quite pretty when she was young. Also this is such a shallow mindset. Believe me when you fall in love, how attractive someone looks is the last thing that matter. There is so much more to a person than their face and body.
