GBK- really made me angry..

That demi bra,seemless,strapless,that neckline belongs to myntra,flipkart.Amazon-that is why people related.The lips were never red in the 60's..watch any color film of that time.Red came in the 80's.

I have followed SLB's interviews during his film making.So painstaking is his research..a film set in 60's should have been a breeze.

Not sure what this is doing in a Dhamaka thread, but...

AFAIK, Gangu Bai was old by the 1960s. ie, young Gangu would've lived in 1930s-1940s. Makes sense since Karim Lala was born in 1911 and migrated to Mumbai in the 1920s, later was mafia don for several years.

Nor was SLB true to era in his other movies. Padmavati dancing? Kashibai dancing? Paro dancing with a courtesan? His USP is aesthetics, and GK looks beautiful.

Gangubai was born sometime in 1940 to Ganga Harjivandas in Kathiawar village of Gujarat. When she was younger, Ganga secretly ran away from her home after marrying her father's accountant, Ramnik Lal. The two reached Mumbai, where Ramanik betrayed her and sold her for prostitution for Rs 500.
