Chapter 5

"Arnav," Khushi asked in concern. "Why are you crying?"

Arnav pushed her away in a jerk and wiped his tears.

"Ar.." Khushi started only to be stopped by Arnav.

"Leave." He literally ordered.

"Arnav, atleast..."

"I said, leave!"

Khushi was taken aback by his sudden yell. More tears rolled down her eyes and she ran towards her vanity. She thought she was strong, strong enough to stay away from him. Strong enough not to get affected by him, but she was wrong. Suddenly, all the past memories came in front of her eyes and all she could do was cry.

Lights, Camera and Action!

"Stay away!" Antara yelled on Kabir as he tried to hold her.

"Listen to me, Antara..." he tried but she didn't let him speak.

"That's enough! Just leave from here!"

As soon as her words were completed, she felt him grabbing a hold of her and pinning her against the wall. She resisted but his hold was too strong. She felt him rubbing his cheeks with hers.

"Leave me." She tried to controlled her emotions. When he again rubbed their other cheeks together, she let out a sigh.

"No, Please. Leave me... Please stop it, Arnav." she managed to say between the sensation of his cheeks touching hers.

"Cut"

She was brought out of her dreamland by the Director's voice.

"What happened, Sir?" Khushi asked knowing that the shot wasn't supposed to end there.

"Khushi, it's Kabir. Not Arnav." The director said.

That's when she realised what a blunder she had created. She looked back at Arnav just look at her blankly.

"Sorry." She apologised for her stupidity. "I think, I need a break now."

"Ok let's take a break for 15 minutes." the director announced.

She huffed at being helpless and walked to her vanity van.

She went to the washroom and sprinkled water on her face. What the hell has just happened? How can she just flow in the emotions that too in front of the camera! She calmed herself down and climbed down the vanity.

Her secretary handed her the script and she realised a new entry in the scene. Kabir's best friend is going to play a pivotal role in the story.

"Who's playing the role?" She asked.

"Ma'am.." her secretary signalled her towards a direction.

Lavanya Kashyap. The name itself brought back many memories and she wasn't pleased to have her doing this movie.

Khushi very well knew that Lavanya and Arnav were the lead pair in many movies and not to forget the rumours of them dating for months. Even though it shouldn't had bothered her, it did.

She hated to admit it but she was really disturbed seeing them sitting close to each other with Lavanya holding Arnav's arm and both of them concentrating on the smartphone in Arnav's hand.

"Jealous?" she heard a voice from behind.

She turned around to see Rehaan and guessed that he noticed what she was watching few moments ago.

"Jealous My Foot." She said not accepted the truth and he chuckled.

Khushi stomped and left the place in irritation. Everything happening against her wish and there was nothing she could do.

Arnav hurt her beyond repair and she hated him for it. At least that is what she told to herself and convinced herself not to stay with him. She didn't know why she loves a man who accussed her of cheating and called her names. But then her heart had no answer for it. She hated herself for loving him so much. Even though she loved him, she knew she could never ever trust him again.

They had only 3 days left for the schedule to wrap up and it was a free day so Khushi decided to go shopping. She went to the mall and did shopping for herself and her sister. Satisfied, she tried to enter the lift with lots of bags in both her hands.

"I am sorry." She said as she bumped into a man in the mall.

She heard him apologising too. And his voice made her root at her spot. All this while, the door of the lift was already closed and only both if them were inside. She tried not to look at him and hold the bags properly.

Just as Arnav started to move towards Khushi to help her holding her stuffs, the lights flickered in the elevator and it started shaking.

The shaking became more violent causing both of them to fall against each other, the shopping bags falling haphazardly out of their hands. Arnav's arms automatically embraced Khushi in a subconscious effort to protect her. At the same time Khushi's hands grabbed the fabric of his shirt and her face became hidden in his chest as the elevator continued to lurch back and forth. Feeling a sudden drop of the elevator Khushi gave a tiny scream, burrowing more deeply into the safety of the strong man whose arms encircled her. All at once the falling and the shaking stopped. Everything was still and quiet except for the hard breathing produced by the two people clutching each other tightly.

Slowly Arnav and Khushi came to the realisation that the elevator had stopped shaking and for the moment they were safe. As they moved apart each gazed into the face of the other, searching for conformation that everything was alright.

"You're okay?" Arnav asked looking at her and instantly became concerned. Khushi's face was white, she had her eyes closed and hand touching her head. As Arnav moved towards her, Khushi began to sway and but he caught her but she had already fainted.

Chapter 4:

Wonderful chapter Khushi has been working hard for few days, as a result, her body gave up and she fainted on the sets. If we don't listen to our body, this is inevitable. None other than ASR took care of her. Do they know about their equation? Did they knowingly left them alone?

PA had to go home who just lost her mother and Khushi's compassionate side showed up to help Radhika.

And this Arnav why his mood is on and off sometime I feels he regrets whatever happened in the past but sometimes I feel he is still in mu.
