Aur daadi ke pravachan Riddhima ke liye isliye hain kyounki vo unke close hai.....jinke saath mann lagta hai, har koi usi ke saath open up hota hai.

Riddhima ne hamesha daadi ki respect ki hai unki baat suni hai....isliye daadi bhi apne mann ki baat Riddhima se share krna pasand krti hain......Baaki family members daadi ke close nahi hain.

Daadi Vansh ko bhi pravachan deti hain kyounki vo daadi ki baat sunta hai....unki respect krta hai aur unse pyaar krta hai.

Baaki family members ne pehle bhi daadi ki wishes ko ignore kiya hai.....episode no. nahi pata lekin jab daadi ko pooja ke liye help chahiye thi to sab bahana bana kr chale gaye the.... sirf Riddhima ne help ki thi.

Vansh literally forced her to marry, & this is not wrong? He didn't deserve a slap for this, right? Forced marriage toh normal thing may be for dadi but it's not normal. Dadi knew it very well she was not happy, she was forced to do this. Where was dadi's pravachan that time? Dadi was very much happy that time behaving as if they had a love marriage. & this is called selective preaching.

She was not close to anyone from that house(you forgetting siya here, even there was a scene which indicated she shared quite normal relation with ishani too ) but everyone respect her in a true sense. But she doesn't do this 'selective preaching' to anyone. Even dadi only gives love lesson to vansh not some moral advice. In her house 100 of wrong things happening, did we see her give morality lecture to her family? No. They may be doesn't close to her but respect her enough to listen her preaching. She is hypocrite like other member of that house. & I'm still to my point, she was wrong to slap riddhima & riddhima was wrong to uttering those gem like ashirvad & all.

Bold : Dadi had asked Vansh if there is any other reason behind the sudden marriage. Then siya had told her they are in love.

But I agree to the later part. There was no reason for her to slap Riddhima. She could have reprimand her. Scold her. Asked her for proves without slapping. Tbh, Bahu is bahu, daughter is daughter. There are certain limits that you do not cross no matter how deep relation you shared. Dadi was the only one who always believed in Riddhima. SO slapping her without giving a chance to clarify was dead wrong. She could have asked for proves if she doubted her. And that ashirvad dialogue had me cringing like hell. Thappad can never be a ashirvad no matter what the reason is. It can be a way of teaching a lesson when children are getting way out of control in asian culture but ashirvad??? A big noo !!!
