I have abandoned both MHN and AS so hoping some good serials come up in these prime slots on other channels (it is more comfortable to switch to a new serial when it starts rather than in the middle of it). Even my mom is getting tired of these but it is out of sheer habit that she tunes into ZM every night.

@ bold, Exactly my case. Our English teacher was so strict about grammar and spelling that slightest mistake would get a friendly rap on the knuckle but he really encouraged the students to explore books.

Even my father was a diehard Marathi drama/sangeet natak fan and so it was Sahyadri channel we were addicted to before all the multiple channels arrived.

मला पण ते पुस्तक आठवला कारण टिळक विद्यापीठाच्या परीक्षा होत असत त्या वेळी(आता माहीत नाही होतात का). इंग्लिश आणि गणित या विषयाच्या.

तेव्हा इंग्लिश विषय खूप hard होता आम्हाला. कारण मराठी medium वाल्याना इंग्लिश हि 3rd language होती. First मराठी, secnd हिंदी अँड third इंग्लिश.

त्या वेळी ते खूपच कठीण होतं आणि जड ही(वजनाने सुद्धा आणि कळायला सुद्धा).
