An ad can even make me cry - let alone a movie 😆

  • Kal Ho Na Ho = Cried tears of blood then, crying tears of blood now.
  • Devdas = Cried myself to sleep the same night I watched the movie 🤣
  • Om Shanti Om (😆) = Cried when first version of SRK died even though I knew second version was coming.

Let’s just make the above easy by assuming that if SRK died in any movie, you bet your ass that I’ve sobbed face down on the carpet.

  • Koi Mil Gaya = Cried when they broke Rohit’s scooter. How dare they!
  • Kaho Naa Pyar Hai = Cried because Rohit couldn’t swim 😭
  • My Name is Khan = When they bullied childhood and adult SRK 😭
  • Agneepath (HR version) = Cried throughout the entire film. I was Vijay’s crying soul in the ‘real’ world.
  • TZP = Sobbed in the end
  • 3 Idiots = Cried everytime Aamir did 😆
  • Ghajini = Cried in the end when Kalpana’s spirited visited him.
  • K3G = Cried
  • Mohabbatein = Cried
  • Tere Naam = Cried at the end because at this point, let’s just agree that I’ll cry over anything.
  • Kyon Ki = Cried when Jacky suffocated Salman to death.
  • Lootera 😭😭😭
  • Pinjar 💔
  • Bajrangi Bhaijaan = Cried from start to finish.

I would have cried in Baghban but my tears dried up REAL QUICK when I heard my mum muttering how we would do the same to her and proceeded to tell us off -

Um excuse me but what?

Sanam Teri Kasam - The story is cliche, but the fact that Saraswati thinks Inder is with her because he pities her makes me cry.

Bajrangi bhaijaan - every time I watch this movie, I decide I won't cry this time, but end up in tears when Munni runs to her mother, but Bajrangi is caught and beaten.

Kai Po Che - Even before Sushant's unfortunate death, I have cried every time I watched this movie. The shot where Omi shoots Ishan by mistake and Ishaan falls down the stair is just too realistic. Also, the fact that Omi idolizes Ishan, but he is the one who mistakenly kills him, is so heartbreaking. Amit Sadh's performance in this movie is so underrated. When he meets Ishaan's sister in the end match and cries, looking at her, it's a heart-wrenching moment for me.
