Will Deepika's sabbatical help her to emerge stronger: Predictions

The self-imposed sabbatical she has taken for 2 years...what do you guys think? Will it help her to emerge stronger with Chapaak? Or will it take a toll on her career? Will people still be excited to see her on-screen?

Chapaak is a movie which is like an acid test for her. It's a challenging movie, in terms of everything : be it acting, looks, subject etc. Will she ace the test? Or will her acting be affected by her long break?

I know we haven't seen the movie or trailer even yet...but I want you guys to predict her fate and the movie's.

I think movie will do well irrespective of how she acts. People here are too sensitive about such topics. She is going to get votes on sympathy factor atleast assuming she doesn't act well.

Sure hope so. Taking such long breaks in Bollywood can be dangerous for one's career since other actors take over in the meantime

But if Chapaak is well received Deepika will be at the top again

You may be right on the former but unless something goes really wrong '83 won't flop. The director is usually good, Ranveer is having a great run & being smart + it will have some classic patriotism which the audience really loves these days
