Mortal instruments started off as draco trilogy, Jace is Draco, Clary is Ginny, Simon is Harry and Ron molded into one. The issue was that in her fanfic she plagiarized stuff from movies and books. And according to netizens she has lifted wads of text from Draco series into her published Mortal Instruments

I personally hate it when the main leads are obviously in love with each other but refuses to admit it due to petty reasons like she's better off without me etc.
