it is not about who loved who for how much time. how can you say that she has done more for him than he did for her in 17 years. right now she is being stupid and destroying herself over something like this which could have easily been solved if she would have just opened her mouth and said the truth instead of creating so many misunderstandings and creating such a mess. RV passionately loves her but he is not stupid. he would dealt with this in a smarter way. ishaani was dumb (her time with chirag), is dumb and will probably stay dumb. he gave her his love and friendship unconditionally all his life without expecting her love in return and had to watch the entire chiraag ishaani drama despite how much he loved her. that was like dying everytime seeing the one he lovedwith someone else. anyways i am not saying ishaani does not love RV. she is crazy about him but she needs to use her brains too and needs to show her aashiqui in a positive manner. not like this.
