Welcome welcome deshians to one of our most awaited party of the month...
On this day, exactly 6 years back, two beautiful souls got married to each other for lifetime.

Preet and Meher, two opposites whom nooone was expecting to see them together became one forever.

~~THEIR STORY~~

Meet's love story was not like the others one for sure. We all remember who rudely Preet accused Meher about stealing his Maa ki kangan. At that time, Preet was living his life freely and enjoyed partying a lot. Meher was different from others girls. She was simple and innocent. Preet blamed her at first sight but what happened after was not what they've planned in their respective lives.

After Prem's "death", Preet tried his level best to fulfill all the duties. The situation was worst since Harman decided to leave the house on his wedding day. He left Meher to live with Maya. Preet decided to take an important decision of his life. He married Meher because he wanted to save his family. Meher was heartbroken because she loved Harman. And Ashleesha was broken because she loved Preet.

Both married each other for the sake of their family. Their Wedding Day was not a fairytale but a deep, dark, and painful moment. Chachi never missed a chance to taunt Meet. Both were broken into pieces.

But, true love story can surpass everything, even the hate and circumstances of life. Meet developped new and unknown feelings towards each other. The beautiful friendship turned out to be an unconditional love and friendship. A relation that touched many Deshians forever.

Meet's happiness shattered when Preet died. But Meher never left Preet go away from her. She lived with those fond memories and their pyaar ki 2 nishaani: their children.

Since Deshians did not accept Preet's death, this thread will be dedicated to their happy and intense moments. Let's just say that the track about Preet dying did not exist 😆

Meher & Preet at their 1st Date

1st Meeting of Preet meeting Meher is not at all friendly as he accuses her of stealing his mom's family bracelet. Preet was misinformed and he did not verify the info and readily accuses her.

Later, misunderstandings clear and slowly Preet becomes Meher's friend.

They both share lot in common and it becomes easier to bond.
Both are funny, they care very deeply for their family, they want to do the right things for the right
reasons.

Preet does come across as a very carefree and spoilt brat and Meher as a very practical girl,
who looks at everything logically.

However, suddenly Preet's family faces terrible loss, due to that Preet's father decides Meher should marry his 2nd son. This did not work as Preet's brother runs away from wedding mandap without informing to his girl friend's place. His girl friend earlier threatened him, she would take her life if he does not come there.

Preet's father becomes distressed and ready to take his life. At this point Preet steps into make things right as he saw reasonable. He asks Meher to marry him and she accepts. They are really agreeing for the sake of their family. Both are very selfless!

Preet is now facing multiple responsibility of taking care of a large depended family & a new wife so he is forced to work full time at his company.

He is unsure of everything and always feels insecure if he would succeed.
Meher is his best friend & devoted partner who always encourages in every step of his way.

Days move on and one day Preet takes his wife to their 1st official date

Unexpectedly on the starting of Date - Meher & Preet encounter the older Jueneja brother who ran away
standing in front of them with his girl friend.

Meher is slightly upset, Preet manages the situation and takes her with him inside. A lovely restaurant with candles and a romantic atmosphere.

Meher looks at menu card and gets shocked seeing the prices of the meal and decides not to order.

Preet calms her down, stating they should enjoy their time together.

( Meher is still uncomfortable as older Juenja brother is seated not too far away. However Preet didn't allow her to be distracted and they both have fun and enjoy their time without any interruption.)

After the dinner date, as fate would have it - Meher & Preet again run into Preet's older brother's car.
They walk away, however Meher suddenly notices that the brother is choking in the car.

Meher asks Preet and tells him they should go and check.

Preet reluctantly agrees.
Meher identifies the source of chocking - a perfume sprayed by older Juneja borther's girl friend.
He's allergic to that smell.

Waiter is being called into bring water and finally the older brother recovers from it.
Then Meher & Preet go on their way!!

Now why is this a significant event that I took the trouble to write?
I don't know actually except it's MEET's 1st Date.

The inspiration for me to take up this scene is my bestie and eternal romantic,
Maria (MariaArHiholic) ❤️🤗
She really has a weak haart & when she sees romance she's all set to become
a fan of a show/scene/episode you name it. 😆😆

What I would like to say is - this is ONE of MANY situations, that
Meher + Preet either together as couple or individually take care
of family and people who need help.
They have such pure and good heart - there is so much goodness in both of them,
that you cannot possibly measure with one scene or episode or dialogue.

On this Date,
Meet may not have had a chance to dance or hold hands as much as typical couple would do.
That's not how Meet are projected - they are very casual in front of public.
But are none the less romantic people in their own unique way.

Preet (at Juneja's house) 🤔

In front of laptop and as usual thinking about meher rather then working.He just cant understand his feelings for Meher, why all of a sudden he is missing her so bad,after all it was their plan to fight so that they can help their siblings.He really needs to meet meher,but it is 11pm.

Preet-i really need to meet Meher. i can surely go after all i m legally Meher's husband

Maans residence-

Meher is watching tv,

Heer has gone for a date with prem to sort out her difference and nihaal has gone for business tour,and she is all alone.meher is scared but dint wantd preet to know she is alone cause he wld insist he wld join her,which could ruin their plan.

meher-there is nothing in tv,should i call preet,he must b surely sleeping,omg I'm missing him so much and he must b having a goodnight sleep there.i think even i should try to sleep.

(Meher switches off the tv and light and goes in her room.)

All of a sudden she hears something falling- thuddd

Meher freaks.what was that-thief or bhoot?

Meher switches d light takes a broom and goes where the voice came from.it was dark, she sees someone,and starts hitting him,finally she realises it is Preet.

Preet-r u mad Meher,do u welcome ur husband like this?

Meher - omg I'm so sorry,but din't know it was u? waise wat u doing here.

preet-stop screaming ur hitler brother will come.

Meher - he is not there.

Preet - so u were all alone,y dint u tell me? achaaa so thats d reason u were sleeping with broom.hahahhhaha.

Meher - ya whatever, Will u tell me why u here.

Preet - cause. I was getting bored at home

Meher - matlab

Preet - m hungry.get me something na pls

Meher - okay

(Meher goes in kitchen and Preet goes in Meher's room) It was already 11.45pm,he needs to start his preparation soon.

Meher - does he even remember its our annversery tomorrow.i don't think so waise bhi we don't have any husband wife relation,we r toh just friends

Meher- Preet Preet where are you...

She goes and check everywhere finally she reaches her room,it is dark.she goes inside and sees a table set with candles and cake-happy anniversary written in it!

Meher smiles.but where is Preet she wonders.she gets a letter saying-

"GETTING MARRIED TO YOU WAS THE BESTEST DECISION OF MY LIFE".she smiles.

Preet comes from behind and whispers in her ears happy anniversary wifey.

Meher looks back and hugs him and says happy anniversary.

both decide to cut the cake first along with taking cute selfies.

Preet - Where is my gift Meher?

Meher - hubby even i wanta gift

Preet - I am your gift (smart handom good looking guy)

Meher - ya riteee,

Preet removes a box and gives Meher..

Meher excigtingly opens the gift,as soon as it opens a punch comes from the box,

Preet starts laughing, Meher's gets angry and start running after Preet,he runs and Meher is after Preet.

They reach Nihaaal room, Meher slips and falls over preet in Nihal's bed.

Both share an eye lock, both are just looking at each other (both were not awkward and were liking each other being so near),

Preet pulls Meher over him closer and both are just lying hugging.

Preet - Meher i need to tell u something,first get up and close your eyes,and don't laugh

Meher - eyes? but yyy.ok fine

Preet-i have always been a playboy,had many girlfriends,but have never felt the way i feel for you.(Meher is smiling hearing this, he holds her hand)and says Meher i think I...

Just then Meher's phone rings...its Heer,

Preet - Listen Meher bunk d phone,pls listen

Meher - It can be urgent

Preet -fine (angrily)

Meher - ya Heer di,ok okay I'm coming.

omggg,Preet di is down she is coming up, u go nowww

Preet - First let me complete, and how should i go

Meher - From the window

Preet - kya yaar yeh Meher bhi na (irritatingly)

Meher comes from behind hugs Preet and whispers in his ears

"i love you too Preet" and kisses his cheeks.

Preet is about to hug Meher, but she runs from there

Preet - run how much ever you want today,tomorrow u have to come back.

Meher just blushes.

(Preet and Meher were chatting through out the night,,flirting and pulling each other's legs.finally on their anniversary day they had their first date at kasauli which ended after 5 days)

-PB!!!! Saab theek nahin hain... Aaj toh... Mein toh gaya!!!! Preet was surely out of his mind Prem thought. He just couldn't stop smiling at seeing his brother's antics!!!!

-Achaa? Lambi saans andar loh aur lambi saans bahar pheko...saab theek hai...kuch nahin hua tumhe... you must feel a bit tired naa?

-Tired? PB? I'm not tired I'm just scared...

-Kisse daar rahe ho yaar?

-Meher...

And suddenly Prem burst into laughing.

-PB!!!!!! This is not funny!!!!!! Mujhe laga tha ki aap mere bhaai hai!!!

-Who toh main hoon Preet, lekin atchanak yeh kayaal tumhe kaise mind me ayaa?

-PB, aaj meri wedding anniversary hai aur agar maine iss saal ko maine kuch special nahin banaya to saachi Meher mujhe daantegi!!!!! Aur aise daantegi ki ... bhaaaiii... BACHAAAO!!!!

-Chal chal calm down just relax let's make a plan for today, I hope you took a day off from office.

-Yes PB.

Preet was not nervous anymore. He knew that Prem would definitely do something dhamakedar. After all, he's the bhaara bhaai so he had to show the example, Preet said in his mind. Few minutes after, the plan was set and Preet left the room with a huge smile. He didn't forget to hug warmly his bro', his best confident.

Evening was here, itni jaldi ? Preet was again getting really anxious, I hope saab theek hoga...I hope sab theek hoga, he repeated these lines millions times.

Meher came back at Juneja house with gifts for everyone. All the family was so happy to see her after so many days. Meher had to leave the house for few days because her friend was sick and she wanted to care her of her.

-Aaj tumhari wedding anniversary hai Meher betaa said Bauji, I still remember the day when you came in our house as our bahu, I couldn't ask for more, I have the perfect bahu and family ever.

Those lines made Meher emotional.

-Yes Meher, you're not only our bahu but our daughter too, Maa said.

-You all are so sweet, time for a group hug. All ran into Meher's arms, time stood and still moment.

-Aur muhje kya milega? Preet said.

-Tumhe? Tumhe aabhi kya chaaye Bauji said, betaa you have the most beautiful gift ever. And with those words all left the place with a mischievious smile.

Preet came close to Meher. She was certainly not expecting all this.

-Meher aao mere saath...

-Lekin kahaan? Said an astonished Meher.

-Sawaal maat pucho and just come with me. He held her hand firmly and both went to the terrace.

-Preet, kya kar rahe ho tum? Haath choro mera!!!

-Ssshhh...

-Preet...

-Shut up!!!!!

-Awww I see, Meher was fuming, what a way to talk to your wife!!!!

-Shut up ki waijhe se biwi ko ghussa hogaya haaaye... teased Preet.

They reached the terrace. Meher couldn't believe her eyes. All that appeared in front of her eyes was just like something came from a fairytale.

The terrace was arranged so nicely with red roses and a table with candles...There was light everywhere and even a swing. Meher left Preet's hand and ran to the swing. Preet was just staring at her. How cute and innocent she looked. He joined her and gave her a gift.

-Kya hai ?

-Tumhare liye...

-Mere liye? Lekin issme kya hai?

-Khud ke kholo main tumhe nahin bata dunga, he folded his arms.

-Just go with this gift and change yourself.

-Awww kyun?

-Maine kahaa tha naa? No more questions!!!!!

Preet was waiting impatiently when she came. She was looking ethereal in that red sari. Her long hair was perfectly put on one side making her look stunning as ever. The wind was playing with her hair like a soft melody. Preet was lost, his wife was indeed looking very beautiful. The silver earrings added a unique touch, her make up was just perfect and her bangles were dancing with the move of her hands.

-You're looking so pretty my beautiful wife!!!! Meher blushed and tried to move away when Preet held her from the back and whispered on her ear.

-Happy Wedding Anniversary Meher, you were are and will remain mine forever. Today I made all this only for you but those red roses and lights mean nothing. You're my precious gem and I don't need anything else.

-Meher turned back, faced him and just hugged him tightly. Tears couldn't stop. Preet hid his face on her hair and hugged her back with the same intensity.

-Preet I don't need all this, I just need you, now and forever. I love you Preet I don't know since when but I love you and I'll love you hamesha.

They broke apart and he came closer to her. Meher closed her eyes as she knew what was coming. Preet smiled at her innocence, even after 6 years she's acting as if it was the first time they share this special moment.

Preet took her lips and they shared a long and passionate kiss. Meher replied with the equal passion. In each other arms, Preet and Meher celebrated their 6^th Wedding Anniversary.

Prem entered his room, Heer was sleeping peacefully.

-I hope Preet will give me atleast some credit, he said with a smile and slept holding Heer tightly.

Ok that was a small contribution from my side, I had this story in my mind since I got the request to write a Meet OS and I took less than 1 hour to write it... I hope it's okay.
