This! If Navya just been herself, and more sure of herself, maybe we all might feel differently about her. Whereas Nandini is who she is, she hasn't changed her appearance, she hasn't let go of what she believes in but she is open-minded enough to accept people the way they are.
I just watched the episode where Navya is going up to Manik and grabbing his guitar, and thinking she is apart of them already. She didn't think, she reacted, whereas Nandini was standing behind, watching and observing. Clear difference.

@CC- True, premarital sex is more rampant in small towns and villages. I think Navya has pined her hopes on Mumbai too much for getting all her dreams. She is one-directional about it, she wants music so she has to be part of fab5 , not even thinking about whether they will accept her, her music suit their genre or not. Similarly with harshad- she loves the idea of him, because that is all she has dreamed about , hence the oblivious reaction to everything. Being rational is not something that comes to her especially if it's needed for her dreams.

Noorie, coming from a small town does not mean the girl is a sanskaari. ALOKNATH guide has no such rule. She's naive, she hasn't seen a big city like Mumbai and hence her grey cells stopped working, like Adhi said, Nandu never tried to mould in, she was comfortable being herself, Navya wasn't. She even tried aping Mukti and failed miserably. And Nandu has a brain, which thankfully works fine. Lol

And yes Nandini is someone who is very comfortable in her skin. i think when Nandini will only allow Manik to make love with her, when that explicit trust will develop between them. There should be some major growth in their feelings, love and relationship. The love making scene will definitely be quite meaningful for both of them.
