well, aastha didn't have a childhood like shlok and she has a support system in her parents. if shlok comes out of this, he is the greatest survivor.

you know, though it is romantic, i always felt that dialogue, "like you are incomplete without me, i'm also incomplete without you", wrong.

i believe that everybody is complete just by themselves. completion comes from within, not from outside. just that when you add more beautiful relationships to your life, it becomes more and more beautiful.

if you are not happy and complete before inviting someone else into your life, you will make their life miserable by clinging to them. shlok should be happy and complete just by himself. then he is ready to have aastha or anyone else in his life. same applies to aastha.

Reka , so true ! I think this rope seperation (gawd i cant believe they will actually have a rope) is needed for both to realisethemselves. If one can't love and cherish oneself , we will never do justice to the person we love. Shlock needs to snap out of his "dependence" . And Aastha needs to understand what it feels to be isolated and with no support system. Only then will she understand Shlock and his insecurities. Like you I have felt that in addition to her good intentions there was ego involved in her stance against Baba. Baba could have been a normal person and yet Aastha would feel perhaps have had not so great feelings about him. She is used to being everybody's favourite. She falls in love with someone whom she places above all but for him his father matters more. If she didn't feel insecure and petty atleast for a brief duration it would have bern abnormal. Battling this Aastha did not see the small boy who grew up with an indifferent mom and exacting doting father. Hopefully this will wisen him . Like Dante claims in inferno , one has to pass through the darkest cirners of hell to reach paradiso via purgatory!!

chitra,
aastha acted like any normal person, who is challenged by an opponent. her ego is alright but as you said, she needs to learn to take a step back and think before acting.
whatever happened in today's episode was for the ultimate good. i usually feel uncomfortable when something happens to upset the apple cart😛, but today i'm actually relieved for some reason. this separation will ultimately do good.
