But honestly, i think u get busier when not going to work. Piled up and put off stuff can be finally given some importance and u just dont have time. Time flies 😲

hahah yeah Shweta I'm all beautified for tomorrow night - just had my hair cut and coloured- got to get rid of the dang grey.

Ok so I want to get de-haired earlier today and my esthetician was telling me about this great client of hers - he's so nice and friendly and he's Indian! LOL Do you see where this is going?? She's a lovely lady and Greek so I wasn't really expecting it. She left her husband a few years ago - when all 4 of her kids had grown up and moved on with their lives. She said it was time to get on with her life too!

Anyway she told me this story about a guy friend of hers who lives in Athens - a professor or something and how the professor used to tease her and said - why do you want to give up your freedom now that you are rid of your husband? Don't you know that wars have been fought for freedom throughout the centuries for the very thing you now have??? I couldn't stop laughing at this story. Anyway the real irony in this little story is he has since partnered up with someone and this Greek lady is footloose and fancy free. 😛

There is your story for the day ladies. The life of a single woman in her late 30's 😊

hahah no the Indian guy wasn't a Panju - he seemed respectable and she's a pretty good judge of character - I passed on the opportunity anyway. LOL

Yes, mom is my date and she's the safest and easiest one as she starts talking to her friends and sometimes disappears and I can people watch. The only problem is no drinking allowed. I would love to walk up to the bartender and order a arum and coke but of course some old biddy will see it and gossip to someone else and down the line it goes. . . sigh

For sure I will send you a pm tomorrow night after I get home. You will be asleep but it should make for a good breakfast read 😉

POV...I am afraid to get emotionally vested in a show again ...where I don't trust the director and am totally not happy with the pace of anything they do...all too emotional for me...will consider going back...after the HAPPY starts without any pending deaths...

Sush, u mistook me. I said just watch yesterday's 15 mins as its about her getting to know she is pregnant and the hubby wife moments. So just a prologue to MnB style story, thats it. Aint asking u to watch beyond that, If and when it gets better, I will definitely request u to watch. Until then, the hiatus is best.

I am still watching since currently this is the only show I am watching. Kumkum bhagya is on and off if I am waiting for RR to air. the KB is my time pass serial 😆😆😆

Like I told Swetha, dedicating next week for Humsafar and zindagi. A friend strongly recommended and I see here that we are having a series watching session. So will post my takes once I have watched.

enjoy ur vacation; which part of India u visiting ? If u dont me asking 😳

These days I am watching south Indian movies, pretty decent ones!!

If u dont mind watching with english subtitles, can share a few names.

Ooh, u planning to give it a shot too? Nice... You know, the last part of the episode was surprisingly well balanced today. It felt nostalgic and made spirit miss the show that was.

Yeah, cruel it is. But Shwets knows I've had enough drinks so I'm in a happy space. I was brought to tears, by a moment in the episode today. Spirit hates tears! 😆 Is that a tragic song sequence? If yes, I'm gonna take a pass on it. Give me happy, give me intoxicated, give me clueless right now. Anything but tears, rememebr spirit hates tears 😆

I'm with u on this, I might give Wednesday to Friday a miss, ask Shwets to give me a WU and re-start from the week after. I cannot watch the sad parts.

Surprisingly it has. I left my job at the end of June and it's almost the end of July. If you asked me what I've done - I'm not sure I could list it. Some days were totally wasted but the weather was nice and who wants to work when the temp is 34 degrees - sorry American ladies not sure of the Fahrenheit conversion.

I'm doing some volunteering in August and sitting back and drinking frapps from Starbucks 😛
