I think I can see your point. In this way,it makes sense in a way that Archit triggers Reyansh. Reyansh understands that Archit is upto no good.
The only issue is the way he treats Pranati because of that.

I guess Archit changed after he manhandled pranati...
She broke all her ties with him after that incident... Still she uttered that epic dialogue which reyansh keeps on rewinding in his mind " if you love me truly, then stop"
This is because Archit confessed his feelings many times and she is of the conclusion that reyansh never loved her and it's difficult to stop him after his drunken forced scene... She literally gave up on Reyansh... That's why she tried to stop Archit...
But this thing bothering reyansh daily now...
Archit never showed any interest in getting along with jugnu... so doubt arises normally...
Even if he decided to take revenge, it's justified but using pranati as play card is not justified anytime... it'll hurt her more...
She loved someone...he broke her heart and left her when she needed him...

Facing dadi's wrath... Mallika's insults... Jugnu's pain... Rey's name calling and questioning about her character repeatedly like he himself thinking that he is like God Ram...
After all these pains, she somehow got her old friend Archit back, who now behaved like he understands that jugnu is only important to her... And started friendship all over again... If he break her trust or friendship, she'll find difficult to handle that pain for sure...I hope it doesn't happen...
