I caught some of the first episode as it was on TV last night, it seems interesting and a nice positive concept after a long time.
Let me know if its good, I shall watch after the drama is complete!

A good first episode...totally relevant and relatable. I am a hijabi myself and i love that this topic is being explored, i have seen many examples of such families where the girl is discouraged to wear hijab because of their so called modernism...like modernism has anything to do with showing your hair or wearing revealing clothes. It might also help in educating people with the real Islam rather than the grave worshiping that is shown in almost all dramas.

i actually went through a similar struggle myself when I started hijab and I still do get mocked at times, so its very realistic.

Exactly i felt connected immediately because of the kind of criticism Annie got on doing a Hijab and detesting going out with a na-mehram!
i am glad most of us here are Hijabis!
