Another song that defines Navratri
Thing about navraatri is that best bands / groups will still largely stick to traditional ones that not only work but elicit great crowd response. No doubt it’s great to hear modern stuff too but something about the traditional tunes have an amazing beat for garba / dandiya.

The traditional garba tunes are all about acknowledging the might of Ambe Maa, who vanquishes all evil, and dandiya is all about the aseem prem katha of Radhe Krushna, who could never meet in the traditional society sense, but their raas inspired millions of people to embrace spiritual love. Most Gujarati artists/musicians try to keep that essence alive even while coming up with new songs for Garba/Dandiya. There is a meaning behind each line, and that's what makes it more beautiful when bringing people from different walks of life together in one spirit.

Yes, to each their own, and it is not exactly wrong why most of us look forward to Navratri the entire year. I just wanted to add my own maybe old-school perspective to it.

Nothing old school about your perspective… it’s more of a factual perspective and that stands thru all ages.. :) … I just learnt more details today is how I think about it…
