Aishwarya Narkar who played the mother Savithri in Creative Eye's popular show
Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann will now be seen in
COLORS' new show Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam. The COLORS show which launches on 28th December at the 9 PM slot is again produced by
Creative Eye.
The actress will play the mother of Abeer (
Gaurav Khanna), the protagonist of the show.
According to our source, "
Aishwarya Narkar plays the character of Sudha, who is a perfect housewife. She is a good wife, good mother and a good bahu. She takes care of all the responsibilities at home very well, and also acts like a mediator between her husband and son. In other words, she gives her son all the principles and culture related tips from her husband, and also makes her husband understand their son better".
When contacted,
Aishwarya confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I play the boy's mother in the show".
When asked how her character here is different from Savitri in Betiyann, she quips, "Savithri and Sudha are two different characters. Yes, they are similar in the sense that they both are house wives. But Savithri in Betiyann was never able to open her mouth before her husband, but in the COLORS show Sudha has the capacity to raise her voice against injustice, if need be".
