Gaurav Khanna parties on Udhari ka Suit!
Gaurav Khanna of Kumkum fame gets candid in an interview and shares his out-of-the-idiot-box experience. Check this gupshup to know him closely.
Did you ever steal money from your parents' pocket?
I don't remember exactly, but surely must have done something like that to buy chocolates.
Did you ever do shop-lifting?
No never me. But yes, one of my cousins used to do it, just for the thrill of it. At times shopkeeper use to know but would not say anything, as we were kids.
One bad habit that you had as kid?
I was very stubborn and would throw myself on ground and cry my eyes out to my parents' embarrassment.
Any humiliating experience in college or school?
Not humiliating, but my teachers were really tired of me. I broke many a window panes while playing.
Were you ever bullied in school?
Can't say so, as I always befriended my seniors!
Were you ever dumped or rejected?
I haven't been in a relationship ever so there is no such scene.
Were you overtly dressed for any occasion anytime?
I had just entered Kumkum serial after the leap. They had thrown a party, to get together the new and old generation of actors. It was my first serial party and I had no idea how to dress up. We were told to wear formals, but then I did not have one. I borrowed my friends' suit to attend the Kumkum party. But when I reached there, everyone was in semi-casuals. I was the only one to be suited-booted. It was really embarrassing. Then I removed my suit and was roaming around in shirt and trouser.
Other than acting what else do you do?
I am learning horse-riding, as my character in the serial requires horse riding sequences. Earlier, I was skeptical to take up the role because of horse riding but now, when I have learnt it, I don't want to get down from the horse! - Deepa Mishra
