Chanda had to reveal herself, but i wouldnt doubt her integrity this time.. even thou she harbours a desire to be forgiven by dutta n if possible back in his life. She has saved him from near death nursed protected him from chaskar n continues to shelter him even when all her hopes are dashed. humm he does go for chicks who put their necks on the line for him!

For Dutta its a painful reality that fate has brought him to the doors of seema whom he detests the most in life n that too at a time when he is at his vulnerable best. It would serve dutta well to forgive seema n move on. humm he needs their help too..

One has to forgive for one,s own peace not necessarily forget. thus starts the forgivness track

Naku continues to believe in the goodness of her faith n the memories of her luv gives her hope.

Guess who is officially done with Uni? Anyway how are you all? I missed this thread the most I think. Quite a few episodes to catch up on, so I'll just give a snapshot of some of my thoughts.

But before that, as ever Hammie dear thank you for all the time and effort for doing these updates. And Twinkle for the gifs! ;)

my pleasure naila.. as long as there are a few readers i am hoping to carry on..

So a few comments:

Seema: I said I was going to hold off from passing any comment on this lady till I got to see her in action. Well she's been on our screens for a few weeks now and the one thing that comes out is that at least she isn't completely a wet lettuce. Supriya was terrible, about as interesting as watching paint dry, Seema however has a little bit more to offer...But, I feel she has fallen flat somewhat. She was (re)Introduced at an extremely pivotal moment in our resident Lion's life: just as he stood on a crossroad: "To forgive or not to forgive" was his dilemma: If I may paraphrase Shakespeare's Hamlet. Dutta was at the point where his heart and even his brain somewhat were telling him to move on and to let Naku back in. Of course he has a lot of pride and he can be somewhat of a bevakoof and so he took his sweet time arriving at that point, but nonetheless he did. And lo and behold what is holding him back? The first betrayal of his life: AKA Seema or rather as she fashions herself: Chanda.

dutta 's ability to forgive is the big track now.. starting with seema whom he blames for turning him into a beast .. is the first one, she screwed up his perception of fair women till now.. as a man she ditched him.. he has every right to hate this cow.. but the hard bit is giving up the right to hate her and forgive her.. if he can.. then dutta certainly has come a long way

Without a doubt we are supposed to feel something towards this woman, when she is introduced, she is shown to be somewhat affluent. Luxary cars, adorned in fine jewellery, immaculate make up and slick sari's they all seem to indicate that she got what she wanted: MONEY. Yet what we see may not necessarily be the whole picture: which we came to realise when it hit that she isn't just Chanda, but Chanda bai. Uh OH, me thinks someone has had her comeuppance for breaking and destroying an innocent guys trust.

Now while that happens to Seema, our Mr Nawaab-zada get's a dose of reality too. He is blinded. At this point it would be wrong of me not to mention and applaud Mishal for his protrayal. WHat I especially liked-now I don't know if this was a direction thing or more of a improvisation thing on MR's part but that Dutta does not dwell on his disability. Yes he is blinded. Yes it hurts him. Yes he is furious but he doesn't recoil, he doesn't allow it to consume him, instead he moves on from it with the attitude of "Life throw whatever you have at me, I shall face it." AND he does. Of course that's the hard part; facing it. Especially now that his 'shield' is not by his side. Albeit in spirit she is. humm .. with regards to his disability , the don with the golden heart .. has seen so much bloodshed in his life that to me this toughens him up.. he is pushed by the drive of he has, to get better .. perhaps for various reasons, 1.to get back to naku, 2. to hunt his enemy chaskar down.. remember chaskar cheated him the low life

So we have a guilty, repenting Seema and one very angry hell bent on revenge damaged Dutta. Surely something will happen.

Here I want to outline that, while I am glad to see Seema take care of Dutta and show bravery in some form in standing up against Chaskar, it somewhat pales. may be it's the constant sad puppy eyes she flashes. May be it's the constant look of pity she wears when she see's Dutta cope with his disability. I dunno. Whatever it is, something doesn't sit too well with me when it comes to her.

i also think she wants to show dutta.. look i wronged you and now have ended up as a lady of the night.. as a punishment ..

I agree with Hammie who put it eloquently that there is a clear contrast between Seema and Nakusha. While the former 's affection seems to quiver somewhat with what now appears a damaged good, the latter is completely and utterly devoted to the point of madness.

At which point let me say for the first time Suds said a line that had me in stitches: the time Naku takes AS to the village to show her how Dutta is alive in everyone's spirit, well when Kala phones Mr Leela to find out whats going on: his reaction his that everyone is "A mental case" LMAO. I couldn't help but laugh, especially when Baji to has a vision. LOL. Makes me wonder, is there an extremely strong gas leak somewhere nearby which is why everyone is hallucinating? LOL. 🤣 ohhh i bet bart will be splitting at his one..

Ok Jokes apart back to Seema. SO yes, well done to her for helping Dutta and equally I do respect her for trying to make ammends, what however isn't sitting well with me is the way she is going about it. In trying to explain herself the first thing she told him was "trust me" and I couldn't help but cringe. Really? Really sweetie, you're asking him to trust you when that's exactly what he did all those years ago and you stabbed him in the back? Deary me. Choose your words carefully Chanda bai, because in case you haven't noticed Dutta has a short fuse. A very short fuse.

what annoys me is where she kids herself to hit it off with him again? what is she on?

I guess I shouldn't be too harsh on her part; she's only just beginning. What will be interesting is what she does when she finds out who her temple friend is. Would she do the honourable thing and unite the two lovers? Time will tell.

Sidenote: I prefer her hair straight. Curls are great they add glamour but to me she looked prettier and classy with the straight tresses :)

over all ommph shakal hai.. pout mouth and she dresses like a pros.. i just looked at her mujra.. mind you gana aacha tha.. and her chachaji is such a sweetie.. the way he laughs nervously1

Baji/Naku: The dream team. As much as I understand there need to protect their family, I cannot help but feel there is something as too much protection and they are molly coddling everyone. Especially AS. ohhh love baji.. waise naku kafi fibs bolte hai.. mind you she fighting the viper... so all 's fair and love and war..

More on this later, with the following update.
