okay, so the problem is with Abeer?
yes, Abeer was guilty, but not for raping Amala, but to just stand and look on while his three friends raped her. He did nothing to save her. He somewhere knows that he didn't commit this sin, but he still took all the blame on his head. He was manipulated by the lawyer and the maliks to do so. Viraj/ vural was an eyewitness to this crime. still, just to save their own lives, they made Abeer marry Amala. Abeer didn't rape Amala, she passed out during the incident, and she couldn't remember anything, but she knew abeer was there. Abeer understood how influential, the maliks were, it would be no use revealing their names, and in fact, if he does so, he knew that they can influence the judiciary system as well and make amala's life a living hell. He did not want further pain for her, he protected her right from the beginning n towards the end. He got married to amala, just to save her from the wrath of the maliks. After marriage, he never ran away from his responsibilities. He never even tried to touch her. He respected her till the end. He even did not claim a space in the house they lived in, in fact, he lived in a shed. He broke off all his links to his past life. Don't forget, he sacrificed his life for her life. He never claimed his rights as a husband. To your information, it will be soon revealed that he was not a part of the crime in any way. ALL OF THEM WERE INTOXICATED, BUT IT WAS ONLY HIM WHO DID NOT RAPE HER. HE IS NOT A RAPIST. He gave her a house to live in when there was no one to take her responsibility. He even walked away just to see her happy, but he could never leave her and go. He even asked her if she wanted a divorce from him. He just wanted her to forgive him for the crime that he had never committed. He loved her from the first time he saw her ( you would really be able to see that if you had seen the episodes clearly).and anyone shipping dev too here?so let me tell you, He never trusted Amala. Even after the incident, He never even hugs her and says that everything would get alright, HE DID NOT ACCEPT HER BACK. IT WAS A STAIN ON HIS PRIDE. he assaulted amala. He never believed what amala wanted to say, he believed what the society fed in his mind. He even went to such an extent, where he went to kill Amala and Kerim. He even kidnapped her and assaulted her and left her in a semi-nude state. Amala never accepted Abeer after their marriage, whereas, Dev went on to find his love. He just forgot her as if she never existed in his life, and he never loved her. HE NEVER HAD A TRUST IN HER. HE EVEN BURNT DOWN THEIR HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED. HE BLOODY BROKE ALL HIS TIES WITH HER, WHEN SHE NEEDED HIM THE MOST.P.S. Feminism is not about bashing every other man, shouting naari shakti zindabad, but about equality of sexes.Not intended to hurt anyone out here. Instead, I would advice to not argue over something which isn't real. Calm down, and maintain peace. It is just a damn fictional show. Calm down, and understand the relevance of each and every character of the show. Keep patience. :)
Okay. So may I draw your attention to one simple fact that all the members who are standing in support of Amala-Abeer are the ones who have already watched the original Fatmagul.
So I have question for you guys. Did you start seeing Fatmagul-Kerim (I hope I got the male character name correct) as couple from the start of the series itself? Or u saw the caring side of Kerim and the bad side of Dev(can't remember the Turkish couterpart's name) and then rooted for Kerim. (as explained by MysticAura in his/her last comment.)
If yes,you did see them as couple from the start, then I have nothing more to say. You guys are too intelligent.
But if its a no, then tell me why are we expected to accept them as a couple now itself, when the story hasn't unfolded fully. Why aren't we allowed to go through their emotional journey and then accept their love?
@bold... so true...
nobody is a saint here as some people are hailing abheer as...
there is only a thin line that separates abheer and his friends... he too is not interested in handing himself to police or his guilt is that strong enough that he wants to get the justice for the victim...like his friends he too wants to escape punishment...they think of offering her money and he thinks of marrying her...the difference is only he worries for amla also while his friends are worrying for themselves alone...
