OH HELL YEAH! Trish this is gold. Hmm. My imagination is sending Aaliya and Neil to Delhi, each for their own reasons...they happen to come across each other in a certain hotel bar...they get into an argument about each other's aukaad, how dare you get in my way kind of thing...then she realizes he's the one who almost destroyed Aroras and she becomes less belligerent...they talk about their failed agendas...he notices her gorgeous mouth and strong eyes...and, well, you know π@Mina-YESSS!!!! Hint, hint: This would be a great story to writeπ³
So guys, on the AbhiGya AT, Lk, Trish and I somehow came up with an idea for an Aaliya/Neil (evil corporator) pairing...
Well about this idea for a hot night in Delhi...do we think Aaliya has any sexual experience? Apologies if no one wants to discuss this topic, of course we can leave it alone.
But for the interest of the story idea, let me share a few thoughts. We see Aaliya as modern and independent. We know she lived abroad for awhile and she has no time for what she considers traditional beliefs. For these reasons we may think that yes, perhaps she does have some experience. And if she doesn't, maybe she's open to it.
But on the other hand, remember her reaction to the whole Rachna pregnancy thing - she was adamant that she would never let a guy get so far with her. Presumably she meant, never unless he had made a public commitment to her. We see her trying to share intimacy with Purab while they are engaged. She also says that she didn't look at any men while they were apart, and she says that she basically talked herself into love with Purab. The implication is that she didn't have any particular attachments to any men before. Maybe this means she didn't have any experience, either.
Well what do you guys think? If I write this, I wouldn't want it to be a first time story. I'd just want it to be a spontaneous hook up, without either party being hung up on the other's sexual history or lack thereof. But it feels dishonest to write an Aaliya with experience, when she presents herself as someone with a very strong sense of limits...and that's one she doesn't seem to have crossed yet.
Thoughts?
Hmmm interesting question.
I can't ever see Aliya "saving herself" for the typical reasons, i.e. sex should be reserved for someone you love, pre-marital sex is wrong, etc. Instead I think Aliya's reasons may be she has exacting standards. She strikes me as someone who may not have had sex because no one was worthy enough in her mind. πBUT didn't the Mehra family come into money later in life and so it's possible her arrogance is late-blooming? Maybe Abhi was just starting in the music business when she was a teenager and while in high school, she had some experiences. Hmm. I'm going to go with this angle for the sake of variation from Pragya's sexual history, or lack thereof.
