So Parth isn't going to have much screenspace in this show and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Atleast he won't be playing a guy reduced as a trophy but I really hate sautan drama with a passion so I might even take a break myself from the show. They've not given him good lines, hardly any meaty stuff and made him not be interested in regaining his memories. That was a big mistake.
Could have had some special Anupre moments with Prerna helping him regain his memories but writers don't want us to have Anupre but little crumbs. How insulting.
As bad as the last track was, I loved that he was possessive and had some aim. Atleast take that personality trait and apply it into finding out who wants to hurt Pre and to get his memories back. Now, he's just a softy boy who doesn't communicate with both his nagging fake wife and Prerna. He goes to a hotel with Komolika but doesn't communicate to her that he's not interested in doing the deed with her. He knows it's not the first time she's tried to come onto him so separate rooms was necessary.
Thankfully she didn't use viagra or some aphrodisiac otherwise she might have succeeded in raping him.
I was expecting her to dress in a cabaret costume and sing Yeh Mera Dil Pyar ka Deewana, and him resisting her like in a typical Amitabh Bachan Don style. Then Anurag opens the door to escape and police see the cheesy dance. 😆
This was the track to show communication. Every episode should have brought something new, but noooo we're having the same crap recycled every damn episode and him not being aware of anything like its so obvious Prerna's attacker is living in his home e.g. the bribed electrician doesn't carry cash with him at the place he's going to do the crime. Someone obviously bribed him at home. Since Anurag won't suspect his parents, sisters and Anupam, that leaves Sonolika as the prime suspect whom they know very little of.
Ahh, I'm not bashing Anurag, I'm disappointed in such writing that shows no love and care for this 'dream project' of Ekta Kapoor.

Yes, it is a crap script. Bored hogaya, so bored that I skipped Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's episodes. I watched an American comedy film instead which has a good plotline, logic, strong characterisation and consistent rapport between the leads.
I don't know why Anurag is so cool with Komolika. He hasn't even verified her background yet nor wondered why any girl would marry a stranger without getting to know him, his family and background...etc. She's not behaving like the scared daughter of a ruthless father but a nagging younger version of Mohini Basu who loves to force herself on him. Not once has he tried to find out where is her imaginary father. I bet Anurag and his family haven't even asked what her surname is.
He doesn't even realize that she will be jealous if he holds another woman's hand and spends time with the other woman. The writer's aren't putting any effort into Anurag's characterization anymore. They stopped caring about him. 😔
