Innumerable besure gaane? Please enlighten everyone on which performances Shivam went completely besura? In the beginning of the show, when the contestants were asked who are their biggest competitors, a lot of them included Shivam on the list. There is a reason for that, is he a classically trained singer, trained personally by Suresh Wadkar, who churned out singers like Rahul Vaidya and Amey Date. I think Shivam has proved on multiple occasions that he can sing a song of any genre with good sur and expressions, and his elimination on Indian Idol came as a shock to everyone. On this show, the only bad performance he gave was for Mast Qalander, but this was overlapped by excellent performances on Haal e Dil, and Jo Bhi Main (where he received a standing ovation). When he sang Tum jo Mil gaya ho, the only thing the judges could say is that he was over-expressive :S, I don't think that its a sufficient statement to make when ur eliminating someone out of the show. For me, this whole show is scripted, and it manipulates everyone's perceptions on how good these singers really are.
