I tried to figure out where Aneek made mistakes, the more I was listening to him singing the more I was amazed at the way he sang. The comments really did not match Aneek's performance. What's this about SK being the neutral judge, if this is the case then why these two bengali judges sitting there? Are they going to go with MK every time a bengali singer sings? I thought they were picked because they were Indians!!!😕

As much as I like Irfan , I think it wasn't his day and didn't sing well enough.. He should have been the one to go to challengers side only based on yesterdays performance.. Overall I think Irfan is a better singer than Aneek

Aneek chose a higher scale for the song. And that song should be sung at a lower scale. That was the challenge that he should sing the original scale of the song but he didn't. He sang in tune but it did not sound that good.

Having said that he was certainly better than Irfan and Akanksha and should not have gone to the challengers side.

@nonny: Excellent post 👏. Couldn't agree with you more!
@bellevue: I think they call SK the neutral judge because the other two are supposedly mentors of the Challengers and the Champions. Not for any other reason. Having said that, the mentors don't seem like mentors at all in this show. Why would Shaan who is Aneek's mentor point out the fact about his scale in the judge's chair? All the more reason to believe that this show is completely scripted!

Sanchita didn't sing well..how did she get such high scores..

Vaishali sang and pointed out that Sanchita didn't hit 'ko' . Vaishali's one line singing was way superior and mesmerising than Sanchita's whole song..

Nihira Pointed out the reason what Aneek could have done..He should have picked a lower scale than it would have sounded right...Shaan pointed out the same thing..
Irfan and Aneek both were ok yesterday...Swanand's decision was right IMHO..
BTW I would have prefered Akanksha going over to challenger side...I found her weak last week and this week..
Hemant's comments on Sreeram's singing bringing up south indian touch was uncalled for..If show is having them bring regions into for mere TRP its shameless..
I liked how Swanand appreciated all diff regions touch bringing in flavor...

The thing of it is Shan is his mentor then why didn't he point it out to Aneek during the rehearsals about his scales. This is why I am confused. I think Aneek did a beautiful job of rendering my favorite song and I am not saying because I am a fan of him!!!😊
