I think it could be true. She said that she do some music videos which would take a timespan of almost five to six months. Then, she'll take breaks for about a year. So around 1.5 years in total.
Like DreamCatcher said, it is better to bring a new story with Hibashish as lead without the continuation.

Or they can continue with as I said making one of them lose memory of 1-2 years forgetting the love story and bringing funny tracks like they did in Jijaji1 and then bhootni can return when she/he regains memory. If new story is shown then they may again change lead actors which I don't want.
Or who knows actors may shorten their breaks if only this show return like many actors restart next show the moment they are out of one show. JCPH was too dragged after 1.5 years but this was too rushed. Also JCPH got a happy ending as per a leaked video but JCP got rushed ending.
How would Jija react if Bijender(when Bunty played by another actor) and Sanju were in JCPKH and line maarofy CP like they did with Elaichi?😆
