Sunrisers Hyderabad is all set to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their next encounter at the Wankhede Stadium today.

The Kane Williamson-led side has faced three straight defeats in a row and they will be looking to get their campaign back on track soon.

The side is currently at the sixth position in the points table with five wins in ten games and they are likely to bring back T Natarajan into the playing XI for Kartik Tyagi.

On the other hand, the Royal Challengers Bangalore finally managed to end their losing streak in the previous game against the Chennai Super Kings.

The Faf du Plessis-led side hasn’t seen the best of Virat Kohli yet this year, but a good bowling display has ensured that they still pick up points.

With six wins in 11 games, RCB is currently at the fourth position in the points table and is likely to stick with the same playing XI from the previous game.

Maxwell has had a quiet season so far after starting with a bang, and he is yet to unleash his full potential in the tournament this year.

The Australian all-rounder has scored 160 runs in eight games so far this season and he will be looking to add some more to his tally in the upcoming fixture.

Maxwell has been providing breakthroughs with the ball as well regularly and hence he will be a vital cog in the lineup.

Virat Kohli has a modest record against Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Considering he is opening in the last few games, that is one battle to watch out for!!

Pitch Report

The game between RR & KKR at the Wankhede Stadium was much of a batting-friendly wicket and the target of 153 was chased down comfortably by the KKR side.

However, this being a day game, the track might be a bit better to bat on and the bowlers will feel the heat. The skipper winning the toss will be looking to chase down despite the difficulties of fielding first.

Virat Kohli has a modest record against Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Considering he is opening in the last few games, that is one battle to watch out for. SRH will also be tempted to save Bhuvneshwar for Maxwell considering he has a SR of 84 against the medium pacer.

There is a case to bring back Marco Jansen considering his three-wicket over derailed the same opponent two weeks ago.

Josh Hazlewood has been the standout seamer for the RCB this season without a doubt and he has been accurate with his lengths and lines with the new ball as well as in the death overs.

The right-arm seamer had figures of 1 for 19 in his four overs in the last game against CSK and such is the impact he can create for his side.

He will be looking to continue his good form so far in the tournament.

SRH may have bowled them out for just 68 recently but RCB can take hope from the fact that this bowling attack has conceded scores of 199, 202 and 207 in the last three games

There's no reason to be cautious against the impressive Umran Malik considering he has conceded 100 in his last two games.

A battle at the death between the young speedster and Dinesh Karthik could be a fascinating watch.

While Markram has been impressive in his middle order role, a contest against Hasaranga in a day game could turn out to be a different challenge altogether.

Today’s match prediction: RCB to win the match.

Did you know?

After scoring 171 runs in the first five games, Tripathi has slowed down in the next five, making only 79 runs.

Since IPL 2018, Williamson averages just 23.60 as an opener whereas that almost doubles up to 45.48.

With 38 wickets, RCB are easily the best bowling side in the middle overs.

With the pitches tending to get slower as the tournament progresses, expect moderate scores at this venue. Considering this is also a day game, slow bowlers from both sides will prove to be handy.

Head to Head --- SRH--12 --------- RCB --8

Really want RCB to win. With MI and CSK out, Kohli has a good shot at the crown.
