TulsI and Mansi came in the end of the show when she was always abused, betrayed in worst ways by her husband and others, not the it was justidied. But from the beginning of the show till around the end, Maya didn't go around separating lovers or had full lust, obsession like Ranvir here has. Ranvir isn't even the wronged party here and neither justified in anyway. He is full black from the beginning and Kabir didn't wrong him neither did Anchal cheated him for him to act this crazy. Maya didn't separate Arjun from his love or anything. She was his LOVE. SAANJH always came between Husband wife moments for Maya to get insecured. Her own father had a mistress and had always abused her from the point she was born and her mother had neglected and abandoned her. All this made majority of viewers understand Maya and justified her for why she was this crazy for love of Arjun seeing she never got any love from her parents and her father had cheated her mother hense her insecurities of Saanjh. She didn't have lust for Arjun like her Ranvir has for FL. He's just full black that he doesn't even have reasons to behave the way he is. Neither Anchal nor Kabir have wronged him for him to justify in anyway.

Here Ranvir is the main villain of the story.

Here makers have jumped to that part where Maya became obsessed about Arjun.

As I said as u favour Maya so for u Saanjh and Arjun will always be the villain of the story

While the fact is both made mistakes but were not villains...it was Maya who ended up destroying others as well as herself in the name of obsession

Tulsi , Mansi also never harmed Maya still she killed him...Maya separated Arjun from his family, she suffocated him...She had turned into a negative character long back..she murdered Vandana...nothign could justify what she did...she manipulated Arjun to spent the night with her ! She tied him up and drugged him as well!

Both the characters are similar if u see clearly...as I said the only difference is that Maya was more complex and layered while Ranvir is sort of one dimensional

Me being Maya fan or not doesn't matter when majority of Beyahdh viewers feel the same way and held such views. In fact, both Saanjh and Arjun are one of the most hated characters in Indian tv. Almost all Beyahdh viewers wanted them dead and found them wrong. And don't give me the same excuse of that they were Jenny fans when they weren't and neutral viewers who had such views. Neither am I Jenny fan.

Maya destroyed lIves because she was wronged unlike Ranvir here. What about other characters who always abused, judged, wronged and betrayed Maya? Maya didn't separate Arjun out of thin blue. She tried tried to get accepted by VM. Even begged on that abusive ML feet yet she still got abused. And then she separated him. And why wouldn't she? Which wife would tolerate mother-in-law telling the son always how bad his choice is, how bad his wife is, and how he should divorce her and wanted Saanjh for him. No wife would accept it.

Vandana first killed her child. Accident or no accident, Maya's child was killed hense she was murdered. Pathetic abusive mother in law who always abused her daughter-in-law and always wanted his son to leave his wife to marry someone . The only murders which were wrong were Tulsi and Mansi who had done no wrong. Other ones she killed were themselves murderers, abusive, etc who were going around trying to kill her or her child or her husband and deserved what was coming to them. But at least she knew it was wrong to kill Tulsi and Mansi unlike the hypocrites Saanjh, VM, etc who despite doing so many wrongs never had no conscious or feel any wrong for their wrongs But they did get their karma back in the end.

Anyway, my point is other them both acting psycho, there isn't any similarity between them. Why bringing Maya every time to this forum and compare her with a full black character? It's against the rules to bring other characters and shows.

The show tagline was that and even I thought they would one day say that in the way many thought but the Cvs gave the opposite in the show. They made Maya right in saying to never trust a guy's words and made Arjun the unfaithful one whom Maya loved too much and justified her. They made Arjun the bad one and didn't even glorify selfless love or anything as some thought they would one day and made Maya win in the end.

Court gave her death penalty because full Truth never came out nor do law count emotional/mental abuse, etc. I am sure you know that too. Ashwin's abuse, his attempted murderers, etc nor Samay's attempted murders or others truth never came out. Jhanvi manipulated the whole story and made it as sample as Maya was just an angry child since childhood and made Ashwin and herself as some saint and victim parents. 🥱 VM too tried to murder Maya only to be stopped Arjun. She wasn't some saint who had just killed her child. For Maya, at that point everything was her child and more than Arjun or equally. She was even willingly getting raped and killed for that child by Samay and VM killed that child. Just as VM tried to murder Maya for her child Ayaan, Maya too did that only that she was successful in killing her unlike VM's unsuccess attempt at Murdering Maya.

Justified or not Maya wasn't justified for few but for Majority she was just as few who think Saanjh and Arjun were justified while for majority they were not justified and hated them. So it's all in perspectives.

Maya was a business tycoon so is Ranvir

Maya had a sad childhood so did Ranvir up till 10 years...Maya had it worse though

Maya fell in love with a middle class guy who had a spark so did Ranvir

Maya killed Ashwjn coz he tried to kill Arjun while Ranvir killed Gaurav who tried to kill Aanchal

Maya became obsessive, she had pics of Arjun all aroud, she could go to any extent to get Arjun...so does Ranvir

Maya died in the end on her own terms while Arjun divorced her and married Saanjh...Here Aanchal will leave Ranvir and get back with Kabir..Ranvir will meet the same fate as Maya

.the basic structure of both characters is SAME !

Maya's backstory was shown...we knew why she does what she does...there was enough depth in her character...so even in s2 when she started killing people like ants, we didn't lose interest in knowing her journey coz for many she became a guilty pleasure...

Ranvir's character on the other hand is hollow and superficial..he got the best childhood yet has been turned into Maya 2.0 suddenly just to create conflict in the show... there's no difference b/n him and a mogambo or gabbar who r made villains just for the heck of it..

I will never justify Maya's wrongdoings and the end therefore was justified ...but beyhadh even after going downhill after s2 started was much better than this show and Maya was a much better written character than ranvir :) so in that respect there ain't much similarity tbh...Maya's kept changing shades after every season n here ranvir is black as coal right from the beginning itself...
