Elephant in the room
The first line sounds like my comment for the last chapter. How did that happen?

The fight. The accusations. They are not mincing words here.
Reporting
He will report her for what? She did not break any rules or do anything wrong.
Assumptions & Guesses
She was so afraid as the auto approached the Deshmukh apartment, she cringed as it pulled to a stop.
“Madam… yahi?”
“Haa… bas thanks” she nodded
Handing him.Rs.200… she asked him if he will wait in Marathi
He nodded asking how much longer
“20?” she mumbled, hoping she can be out
She hit the elevator button and paced nervously. In a teal Jaipuri skirt and a sleevless pink blouse, she could have passed off as a college student
The skirt made her eyes look almost blue
She pressed the down button again, and felt footsteps behind her
It was Indraneel
She took a step back in shock, trying to observe who was looking at them. Nobody cared
They scoped each other out but didn’t say a word
She started texting Sulu “HES HERE. Near the elevator. Kya karu?”
“Nothing”
“Sulu”
“Nothing re… just teach and leave”
“What if he told her”
“The school doesn’t know na”
“No”
“Then be quiet… you cant have sex or what? ITEM”
“Pankajaa?” he growled
He was standing inside the open elevator, pressing the door open
She rushed in… and he let go of the door
It was tense and quiet inside, he looked grumpy after a long work day, his hair was tousled and his eyes smaller after his recent flu
He was a banker so he always dressed spiffy she realized
She recognized his scent even
“Shitt” she muttered to herself
“Is your cold gone?” she made small talk as the elevator stopped at every floor with no passenger waiting
Kids in the building playing a prank
“Better” he was gruff
“Hmm”
“Did you pass it on to Kunal? I forgot my mask” she spoke directly
“Actually he passed it on to me… so you probably carry those germs now”
“Its been a week so I am OK”
“U think” he muttered, waiting for her to step out
He rang the door bell
Shankar Rao opened, the glass and grill door.
“Hello Ms Vyas” he smiled
Father and son growled in Marathi
“My son Neel works for a bank” he waved
“Nice”
There was no sign of anyone else, Shankar Rao offered tea coffee or something cold, brought her a tall glass of mango shake anyway from their giant fridge
She sat there fidgeting
“Umm.. Mr Deshmukh… your daughter?”
“Suha? My DIL”
“Not here? Neither is Kunal”
“They will be here soon..” he smiled wearing his sandals
She was terrified
“Umm… can you stay?”
“I am going to my neighbor house”
“Oh”
Neel came out after changing into track pants and tee
Walked to the open kitchen
“I can come back” she quickly started packing her things
“Ive never assaulted you Pankaja so quit” he warned
“I cant be here unless parents are here” she accused
“She is on her way”
“Tumhe kaise maloom?”
He walked over and showed her his phone
“Thanks” she withdrew further
“I date on Tinder, I am not a serial r---st” he was furious
“Mujhe nahi pata” she growled
“So basically you agreed for the date assuming I would assault you?” he challenged
Kunal came in
“Guess what? I actually didn’t fail my Math quiz” “I guessed all the answers”
Suhasini followed, Punky was irritated he had guessed and not worked out the solution
“Well THERES your problem” Indraneel scoffed walking away
“
I am loving this.
Thank you Nisha.
They are like a variation of Ishita and Raman
She is being quite unreasonable and defensive. He is right that she has nothing to fear with him.
Why did she back out of future dates? She found him attractive and he is a nice guy. What scares her?
When there is something that we think is wrong we do think of worst.
He is not worried as he doesn’t hide the fact he is on tinder. Whereas she hasn’t told anyone expect for that friend.
Plus her apprehension the school might object relation with relative also has some basis.
She feels it’s wrong. The way they met and went on about things the way she did, isn’t normal according to her.
Nisha, can correct me if she has something else on her mind.
