Gunny: Congratulations guys!

Naina scowled at him.

Naina: Really Gunny?! We aren't actually married. This is just a contract that Raj insisted on bringing in to complicate matters and to make my life difficult. God only knows what ulterior motive he has.

Gunny: Really Naina? How ungrateful for you? Do you know how much personal and professional risk Raj is taking on in agreeing to this mission. And do you really think Raj benefits from this marriage? No. How will he benefit from a marriage for which he has already signed the annulment papers?

He is doing all this for you. To prevent people from raising questions on your character.

Naina (bitterly): Of course he is. Just like he arrested bhaiya for his own good?

Raj: Enough you two. Naina we need to leave for KMA. Brigadier Chandok wasn't excited by the fact that I am marrying you. Took a long time to convince him that he has no right to have an opinion on this since the army committees have already cleared you for service.

Naina: Let's go

Raj and Naina were driving down to Ambala from Delhi. Raj was hopeful that the journey would provide them time and space to talk, to share their feelings and to start the process of restoring the friendship they had once shared. But looking at Naina;s grim face he knew it would be an uphill task.

Raj: Naina do you want to stop for chai? I remember how much you loved having chai in roadside dhabas!

Naina: No. Thanks.

Raj: Well i need to stop. I am tired of driving. And I need to have chai to recharge myself.

Naina: Fine

Naina and Raj get off from the jeep and move towards the dhaba.

Raj: "Bhaiya do chai."

Raj tries to make small talk with Naina who continues to avoid him. When it's time to pay Naina pays for her own chai.

Raj: Naina, it's only 5 rupees.

Naina: Won't take a penny from you! I'll also pay you rent for the time I stay in your suite at KMA.

Raj: Naina what has happened to you? What's happened to the girl who had once declared that she has unfettered rights on my belongings and my life.

FLASHBACK

Naina is struggling on an Enfield bike while Raj is helping her. After many failed attempts Naina finally starts riding the bike but a few seconds later she crashed into a hedge.

Naveen and Raj came running to help Naina. After making sure she wasn't hurt, Naveen turned to Naina

Naveen: Really Naina? This is Raj's new bike and you choose this to learn riding? And Raj you let her?

Naina: Bhai you are just jealous because your best friend is such good friends with me too.

Naveen: Not good friends. He just spoils you.

Raj; Stop, stop you two. Naveen, it's just a bike. a few scratches won't hurt. And Naina can always use my things.

Naveen: RAJ!!!

Naina: See bhaiya, I'll always have a right on Raj's things and his life

She grinned and put her arms around Raj.

PRESENT

Naina: That was the past. A past when I was foolish enough to think that you were Naveen Bhaiya's friend. My 4 am friend. I didn't realize you were a manipulative, self-centred person who could sell out your friend to advance your career.

Raj: Naina that's not true.

Naina: RAJ PLEASE. I don't have time for this. And while we are at it can you tell me why you insisted on us getting married legally? To get praise from the world for marrying your dead traitor friend's sister? To have control over my life? To be able to manipulate me in the future?

Raj: To be a true friend to you. That's all Naina! That's all. And till my last breath I will be a true friend to you and to Naveen.

Raj held Naina by the shoulders and Naina tried looking away.

Raj: Naina look into my eyes. I know you need to harden yourself for the world. But you don't have to do that with me. I made huge mistake in Naveen's case and it will haunt me all my life. But don't distance me from yourself like this

LET ME HELP YOU

Raj could see the storm in Naina's eyes. The battle between his beloved friend and the woman who hated him. Unfortunately hate won over love.Naina jerked his hands away.

Naina: There is no one in my life! No one except my parents. And this is my battle just mine. You are doing me a favor by helping me get into KMA and i promise to repay the favor.

lets go now.

Raj looked on as Naina walked away.

Raj (to himself) I will break the walls you have built around yourself. I will bring Naveen's naina back to life. I will bring my Naina back to life.

I loved the past scene... It was so cute and I always love the scenes where Rajveer 's spoils Naina and indulges her... And this one scene had that... I hope you will add more of the past scenes...

Also I am waiting to see how they again become friends and ultimately lovers... Waiting for KMA scenes
