I took the time to read all comments in this thread. Its so good to see such passionate fans for either the mentors, dancers or the dance act in general.
Unfortunately the topic of biased or not has appeared again. I know (from interviews and their comments in the show) that the mentors, aside from competing, do encourage each other and the contestants. Above all, regardless who wins, which team, which dancer, they want the best dance / the best act to win. In a way it's a bit of an insult to all of them that they have come so far only because Remo would want one particular person to win.
Is Remo fair? No.. He is a chocolate brown hunk! 😉
Is Remo biased? According to me yes.
Yes he is biased to Dharmesh, he is biased to Punit.. And he is also biased to Shakti. Clearly (for me) he is their well wisher. He loves them equally though not the same. He is like a mentor to them, a father figure. And all 3 (4 including Raghav, and all his other babies which he could not include in this show) need and want something else. Accordingly, they all get his attention and love. In some ways he handles Shakti even with more care. Shakti always looks at Remo for support when she gets teased by (one of the) guys. Why? Because she knows he will take her side and take care of and be completely biased towards her.
Is Remo biased towards the contestants? Yes I think partially he is not fully able to tune out that Empathy factor(Ayush for example)
Is Remo biased towards Dance? I think not.. Everyone has their preferences in style. But I think in general his scores and feed back are legit.
Shakti's team is not weak. They are very good. But I think their best performances are yet to come. Shakti did look disappointed last week but I hope she will use Remo's feedback and next week she will win.
My favorites are divided over 3 captains. I love Dharmesh Raghav and Remo the most but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Shakti, Punit or one of the dancers.
May the best dancer win! Regardless the mentor!
