Star Plus' supernatural thriller Chehra will be aired at an early evening slot of 5.30 PM from June 8th..

We had reported earlier that Star Plus' supernatural thriller produced by Beyond Dreams, Chehra is in trouble due to low TRP's, and that once the channel is ready to launch the second season of Kiran Bedi's Aap Ki Kachehri, Chehra will either get a change in time slot or will go off air.

According to our reliable source, "Chehra will now be given a new time slot and will be aired at an early evening time of 5.30 PM from 8th June. Repeats of BAG Films' new show Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke will be aired for the time being at the 10.30 PM slot. This will probably make way for Aap Ki Kachehri once it launches".

We tried calling Producer Yash Patnaik, but he was totally clueless, and said, "I am not aware of this at all".

We could not get any confirmation from the channel too on the same.

We sent a text message to Anupama Mandloi, Senior Creative Director, Star Plus but we did not get a revert till the time we filed this story.

I hope 'Mitwa phool kamal ke'or whatever suffers the lowest TRP😡

Don't worry, Mitwa will surely suffer from lowest TRPs in the coming days. The reason is that the concept of the story is v.old (casticism). Now in the present age casticism may be prevailing in villages but it has totally gone from the cities.There are so many intercast and inter racial marriages now that I think that the subject taken up in Mitwa is a stale subject and I don't think it will attract city viewers and the majority of the viewers of any soap opera are from cities. This serial can only attract viewers from villages where casticism still prevails. When I saw the ads of Mitwa I had decided against it. Simple reason was I didn't want to get bored. 🤢
