I have a lot to achieve this year:Gaurav Khanna

The very hot and dashing Gaurav Khanna is one man who is hard to locate in the party circuit especially when he is not shooting.

Understandably, not many have been able to trace the star ever since his show Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka (Sony TV) went off-air.

So, where had this actor been since then? "I was hiding," laughs out the actor and further adding, "I had gone back home after which I went to Dubai to meet one of my cousins. It was just last month that I got back to Mumbai. I used the time I had in hand to be with my family. During my stay there, I learnt about my cousins who are now scattered around the world. Most of them are in North and South America so; I have plans of visiting them too but, will do that sometime later," avers Gaurav.

Going back home means shaadi ke offers, when you're single! Hence, we asked the actor if his parents were ready with some to which he heartily replies, "I belong to a normal Indian family. Therefore, my parents definitely want me to settle down. But then I need to find a girl that I'd like in the first place."

Does this mean that the actor really does not have anyone special in his real life? "No, my friends keep telling me that I am a good catch but then, I am still single. Looks like I have a lot to achieve this year which includes getting the right show and the perfect life partner," he adds.

Haven't you taken up any show yet? "No nothing yet. I was offered a couple of shows but then I felt other people would do more justice to those roles. I think I will wait for the right kind of role to come my way," he answers.

The actor has got back to what he likes doing best in his free time, as he reveals us, "I have started painting and doing photography as these two keep me busy."

Even though Gaurav has been away from the TV industry for a few months now, his fans haven't stopped thinking about him yet as he tells us, "I am happy that there are still people who are waiting for me as I keep receiving text messages and mails every now and then. I'd like to say that I'd owe my next project to them."
